The museum is notable for its outstanding collection of Romanesque church paintings, and for Catalan art and design from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including modernisme and noucentisme. I took around few hours here. There are lockers available.
A very nice arts museum in the centre of barcelona surrounded by beautiful parks. Access was easy with multiple public transportation to use with. Takes about 2-3 hours to spent going through the whole gallery. Overall good experience and definitely worth it.
< Barcelona View Restaurant Catalonia Museum > An art museum located near the Montjuic Fountain. Since the Montjuic Fountain was closed due to drought, we visited it instead ~ It was so pretty because it was high up and we could see the whole view of Barcelona. We visited in the morning, but I think it would be pretty at sunset too. I don't know much about art, so I couldn't look deep inside the museum, but there were many gorgeous works, so it was fun to enjoy! Be sure to visit the museum rooftop as well :)
One of the must-visit attractions in Barcelona. You can start with the museum and then go up nearby Montjuïc to watch the sunset, it's on the way. Allow 2-3 hours for the visit. There aren't a lot of exhibition areas, but they are all worth seeing. Highly recommend going to the top floor, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, but it's very windy. Take your QR code to the counter and have the staff scan it to exchange it for a physical ticket. There is a free luggage storage area, suitcases can also be placed, with a €1 deposit, but there are not many spaces, first come, first served.
The building was huge and there was a busker in front of it so the atmosphere was really good!! You could sit on the stairs and listen to music while drinking, it was really free and nice. The exhibition was divided into 4 parts, divided into classic and modern. I don't know much about the modern part but the classic part had a lot to see. There's also a cafe inside and a skating rink.
Housed in a majestic building with panoramic views of Barcelona, the museum showcases an impressive collection of Romanesque murals, Gothic art, and Catalan modernism.
Full of art in Baroque, Romanesque and also Gaudi’s work. Worth for visiting. It needs to take around 2-3 hours for art lover.
Booking the ticket was smooth and easy. Did not encounter any problem and saved me a lot of waiting time.
