Out in the sun fun activities

    1. Water activities that you shouldn’t miss out on

Whether you're visiting Phuket with friends or family, a visit to Blue Tree Water Park will surely make for a fun bonding activity! This thrilling experience is set to be bumpy, so hold on tight and make sure that the life vest is buckled well. Water slides, water sports, and paddleboards await you in Phuket's largest water park. Try the thrilling quadruple slip-n-fly slides, which will throw you 30 meters into the air, then plunge you into the water. The next day, you can try cruising through Phuket's pristine waters in this jet skiing experience!

    3. Discover Phuket’s diverse natural world

Calling all thrill-seekers! For a quick jump of adrenaline in your holiday getaway, be sure to try out hiking and riding a zipline in Phuket’s lush forest! Visit Zipline Adventure at Hanuman World to try a wide array of activities perfect for adrenaline junkies and nature lovers. Phuket may be beautiful from below, but on your skywalk or zip line ride you'll get to enjoy a bird's eye view of the world-famous tropical paradise, too!

    4. Get up close and personal with the local culture

During your visit to Phuket, you will undoubtedly witness one of the island’s most iconic cultural aspects—the Big Buddha. Completed in 2004, the Big Buddha depicts Gautama in a sitting position and is often visited by local and foreign tourists. Pre-book a cultural tour in Phuket and get easy access to the Big Buddha, one of Phuket's most recognized monuments; Wat Chalong, the island's most significant Buddhist temple; and Wang Talang, Phuket's oldest local gems gallery.

    5. Level up your holiday experience

Typically, to go on a new adventure, you would need to go through a lot of preparation to learn all about the place. So, if you’ve been eager to go on a unique holiday experience and have a little time to prepare—this is the best way to go: A private helicopter tour! Hop aboard an EC-130 helicopter and admire spectacular views of Phuket's outlying islands. Let your professional pilot take you to the most scenic spots in Phuket from the comfort of a modern aircraft.

But what to do when it rains?

    1. Try a new indoor attraction

There are surprisingly good choices of things to do in Phuket when it rains. One of which is trying a new indoor attraction such as Aquaria Phuket. Dubbed as Thailand's largest aquarium, Aquaria Phuket is home to over 25,000 aquatic animals such as otters, reptiles, penguins, rays, turtles, sharks, and jellyfish! Pre-book your Aquaria Phuket ticket on Klook and explore the four interactive zones of the marine park: Mystic Forest, Coastal Haven, South China Sea, and Station Aquarius.

    3. Learn how to prepare Thai dishes from a cooking class

They say that you should at least learn how to prepare a local dish or two if you want to immerse yourself in the culture of the country you are visiting. Well, a Pum Thai Cooking Class in Patong Beach is a sure way to go! Learn the art of preparing traditional Thai food such as Gaeng Kheo Wan Gai, Tom Yum Goong, and Tom Kha Gai. Prepare your dishes under the guidance of a friendly chef, and have fun meeting fellow food lovers as you work away on your masterpieces.

    4. Visit one of those pretty cafes

There's no shortage of amazing coffee shops in Phuket. From an artwork-inspired cafe where you can grab a cup of tea or coffee to an all-organic cafe, the options for unique coffee spots are endless. Picture yourself having a warm beverage among the most beautiful artworks—that’s what you get when you visit Feelsion Cafe in Old Town and Project Artisan Cafe in Choeng Thale. You can also visit We Cafe in Chalong and enjoy a fresh serving of salad from their own organic vegetable farm right next to the cafe.

    5. Go on a food trip in a covered night market

The food stands in Malin Plaza Patong are a local favorite, but there is also an excellent selection of souvenirs. While Malin Plaza is smaller than those in Phuket Town, the stalls in this night market are shielded from the weather by a metal roof. Don’t miss out on some of the popular finger food such as sai ooah, kluay tod, and kao niew ma muang. Finish your evening meal with a refreshing 90-baht drink and you’re good to go!
