1. What is the Disney100 Celebration?
The Disney100 Celebration is the Walt Disney Company's celebration of its 100th anniversary!
2. What is Disney doing for their 100th anniversary?
The party kicked off on January 27 at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, where visitors will take in the official openings of two brand-new nighttime spectaculars, including Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park and World of Color - ONE at Disney California Adventure Park, as well as exclusive entertainment, food, drink, and merchandise options.
While the party continues at the Disneyland Resort, the celebration will also come to life at Walt Disney World Resort later in 2023. New features and surprises will be available at international Disney Parks locations all year long, leading up to the company's 100th anniversary on October 16.
3. New attractions for Disney 100 at Disneyland Resort California
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway
The debut of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway at the Disneyland Resort also took place on January 27th. Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is the first ride-through attraction featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse t the Disneyland Resort. Disneyland has announced that the official reopening date of Mickey's Toontown will be on March 19th 2023.

"Magic Happens" Parade
Disney's "Magic Happens" Parade is making a magical return on February 24th 2023 for Disney's 100th anniversary. This parade celebrates the magical moments at the heart of Disney stories and showcases a spectacular fleet of fantastical floats, costumes, and magical music, led by everyone's favourite mouse, Mickey Mouse and all of his best mates. This beloved parade is inspired by magical moments from Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation Studios films.

4. New nighttime spectaculars for Disney100 at Disneyland Resort California
Wondrous Journeys
Wondrous Journeys is a nighttime spectacular that takes you on an epic adventure through 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios. Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street U.S.A., the facade of "it's a small world" and the Rivers of America will transform into a magnificent canvas for 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios storytelling. Be inspired by Disney classics, your favourite Disney characters and their magical stories.

World of Color - ONE
World of Color - ONE is an exhilarating nighttime extravaganza activating 1,200 water fountains, lights, fire, lasers, and fog with high-definition projections on mist screens. This new show will honour Walt Disney's storytelling legacy, which began a century ago and will tell the story of how a single action, like a drop of water, can cause a ripple that can grow into a change wave. World of Color - ONE brings to life some of the most courageous, loving, and inspiring characters in novel ways. "Start a Wave", a new original song, can also be experienced during the show.

5. New decorations for Disney100 at Disneyland Resort California
As soon as you step inside Disneyland Resort, you'll notice extra pixie dust has been sprinkled all around as the resort is decked out with dazzling platinum and violet Disney100 decorations including a new Disney100 Mickey Mouse statue. Just as you thought the park couldn't get any more magical, the new platinum decorations take Disneyland Resort to another level.
6. New merchandise for Disney100 at Disneyland Resort California
Disney will be revealing new collections year-round just for its 100th anniversary including mementos and limited-time collectibles. Disney has just released its brand new "Disney100 The Eras: Walt Disney Studios Collection". This collection includes collector items such as all-new mouse ear headbands, figurines, plushies, jerseys and more!

Disney will be serving tasty new treats for their 100th anniversary and offering collectible novelties like the Platinum Mickey Sipper and the Platinum Mickey Balloon Popcorn Bucket. Some special new treats for Disney100 include:

Disney100: The Exhibition
Disney100: The Exhibition, which opens on February 18 at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will be a 4572 metre-squared exhibition that invites visitors to step into their favourite Disney stories via innovative and immersive technology displayed across ten galleries. The Walt Disney Archives is opening its vault of treasures as part of the exhibition, displaying more than 250 of its "Crown Jewels," rarely seen original artworks and artifacts, costumes and props, and other memorabilia. Disney100: The Exhibition will begin a five-year journey that will take it across the United States and Europe, including stops in Munich and London in 2023.
Disney100: The Concert
Disney will tour Europe with the Hollywood Sound Orchestra, bringing 'Disney 100 Years of Wonder' to life with a concert series of seminal iconic moments from its history. Legendary film scenes will be accompanied by live performances from star solo artists and the orchestra in the live multimedia experience. The concerts will feature songs from such films as Beauty & the Beast, Mary Poppins and Encanto, along with highlights from the worlds of Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel.
From May 31 to June 8, an arena tour will take place in Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, and Bournemouth.
The continental European leg of the arena tour will begin on April 13 in Kiel, Germany, before continuing to 16 other venues across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. The concert will also visit Europe's largest show venue, Paris' La Defense Arena, on November 11 and 12. Many more European dates will be announced soon.
Comic-Con Experience 2022
The Walt Disney Company's anniversary celebration in Latin America began with Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) 2022 in Brazil and will continue in 2023. In addition, Disney100 in Concert, created in Latin America, will premiere in February at Argentina's Opera House (Teatro Colón), following an 11-country symphonic LATAM tour in which beloved characters will participate in creating a unique ensemble of music, film, and dancing. Disney100 in Concert tickets are now on sale at Teatro Colón.
On the Screens
On November 22 2023, Walt Disney Animation Studios will debut Wish, an original animated story with all-new characters, with an original soundtrack composed by Julia Michaels. Wish is inspired by the Studios' legacy of storytelling and explores how the star that so many Disney characters wished for came to be. It was created by the same teams that created the Frozen films.
