Reviews
highly recommended! also kudos to the team and hung san. we had troubles on the transpo to the ski resort and they were able to assist us in looking for other options. also Hung-san's trainings was really great!
A wonderful experience thanks to our amazing instructor, Ariel! She spoke Mandarin and some English, with the lesson being mostly in Mandarin. My husband and I are complete newbies to snowboarding, and she helped us immensely. At the beginning, she conducted a little test and discovered that I am actually goofy (right foot primary) rather than regular (left foot primary). I didn’t know what those terms meant and had rented a regular board, but she assisted me in exchanging my board. I was really scared at first, and she was holding my hands every step of the way. She encouraged me to let go of her hands, and when I did, I was able to do it independently! The feeling of accomplishment was amazing. During the lesson, she was very patient, and her instructions were clear and professional. She tailored the instructions for my husband and me, recognizing our different learning paces. She managed our stamina excellently, suggesting rest whenever we seemed to be out of strength, and still managed to teach us the fundamentals in just a one-day lesson. She helped us take a bunch of cool poctures and videos and airdropped them to us after the lesson. She even helped us figure out how to get back to our hotel. I highly recommend Ariel to anyone looking for ski/snowboard lessons in Mandarin! I would definitely book with her again the next time I come to Hokkaido!
The whole experience and process were smooth, hassle-free and wonderful. Once you paid for the booking, the wonderful, friendly and helpful team will reach out to you based on your preference of communication channels. They are a good of friendly, helpful and professional team. Esther and Lilian answered to our questions promptly and provided us all the information needed beforehand. A special shout out to Yun, our instructor for our session. She is very friendly and energetic, she constantly checking on us, asking for our feedbacks and peovide informative input while conducting the lesson. She is friendly, easy-going, patient, experienced and professional instructor. We had a great time with her and wonderful experience with Yun, Esther and Lilian. I highly recommend their service to anyone interested in learning Ski/Snowboarding from beginner to expert level. Definitely value for money! Great job to them!
whoever would like to experience riding a snowboard it’s very recommended to join this trip!! the coach JJ is very professional and patience when teaching, he took care of us very well during the whole lesson. he also helping us to take photographs and videos. Definitely would look for him again for the next lesson in hokkaido!
We had a great experience here! We were a group of six learning how to snowboard, and Michai was our coach. One of our snowboarders is 60 years old and really appreciated how Michai took extra care of her. He explained snowboarding terms clearly and could point out our mistakes when needed. It’s a great place to master the basics. Unfortunately one of us lost our goggle and hard to pay 3000yen for it. likely someone took it and return to the rental area but they still charge us either way.
Ben is an absolutely fantastic snowboarding instructor! He was incredibly patient and encouraging, and his clear instructions made learning feel so much easier. We went from barely being able to stand to actually making some turns by the end of the lesson. We really appreciate his positive attitude and helpful tips. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn or improve their snowboarding skills!"
We are a family of 4, learning snowboarding for the first time. Aya, the instructor, was really patient and kind. Right from the beginning, she taught us how to safely to put the shoes on and covered it with the inside layer of our pants and binded them to the board. As each of us has different pace of learning, Aya splitted the group after teaching all the basic stuff. At the end of the day Aya brought my boys up the Hill by Gondola and they said they learned a lot from Aya up there and made their way down happily. Aya left us both, the parent, on the learning area to keep practice sliding and most importantly how to stop. We indeed had fun but very tiring. However, Aya comforted us by showing us lots of great pictures of the boys she took when she was teaching the boys sliding down the hill. Aya took a great picture of us at the end and it was a great shot! Thanks so much Aya.
I tried skiing for the first time. The instructor was very kind and taught me how to fall and get back up on my own, because I fell often... The instructor was patient and taught me slowly. The location is good and easy to get to. There's a direct bus from Sapporo Station, so there's no need to drive.
A fantastic experience with our snowboarding instructor Yun. We availed the group lessons for the 3 of us. We were all complete beginners and by the 2nd half of the day we were allowed to use the lift to the top of the mountain and snowboard all the way down! Yun was really patient and a persevering instructor. Will book her again when we come back!
Our instructor for the day was Clair, she was an absolutely amazing ski instructor. She was incredibly patient, bubbly, and encouraging, which made such a difference for our teenage kids who were skiing for the very first time. Both of them spent most of the lesson on the easiest slope, falling often and taking their time to build confidence. Clair never rushed them. Instead, she stayed close to each of them, took the time to understand their individual fears, and came up with different strategies to help them feel more comfortable on the snow. By the time we reached the base of the mountain it was already dark and past our booking time, yet Clair still didn’t rush us. She allowed us to spend extra time on the gentler slopes near the bottom, making sure the kids finished the day feeling safe and confident. It was such a positive and memorable experience, and definitely a moment our family will always remember. We couldn’t have asked for a better instructor — thank you, Clair!
