Arashiyama Gourmet Coupon + Randen 1 Day Free Ticket

Very worth the train and snack combo if you will be spending a full day in Arashiyama. the vendors accepting the coupons are so nice and gives you a variety of local snacks.

great offer, also because of the coupons. there is so much to eat, this introduces you to new treats. only thing what is a bit strange on this deal, is you get a free daypass on the tram, but you have to pay to get to the place where you can get this pass. so you have 1 station you can use as starting point (e.g. Omiya) and the other one on the randen track as ending (Kitano). but Arashiyama where you get the daypass is in the middle!

The train is very comfortable to ride, with spacious seats and a clean cabin that makes the ride smooth and makes the journey even more enjoyable. The service staff are kind and friendly, the time is on time, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. It is a good choice to relax body and mind. Overall, it was a very pleasant travel experience.

Nice package. Ticket exchange at Arashimaya Randen station was easy. Randen was a nice experience. Less crowded then the scenic train. Food vouchers were pretty easy to exchange. Food came packed in most stands. Would definitely buy again.

It is easy to use and saves money. It is recommended that travelers traveling to Kyoto can buy it in advance to make the journey smoother, simpler, more convenient and fun. Great!

We enjoyed the randen train ride! Unfortunately on the day we went, 3 of the food operators were closed, but we were able to try out local food from the other operators.

I was very confused because the only place to exchange tickets was Arashiyama Station. After reading reviews, I was half-confident and went to Shijo-Omiya Station, but I was able to exchange them. We used the round trip ticket and chose three snacks, but I think it’s not necessary. I recommend it if you ride it multiple times. It costs 250 yen per ride. You can’t choose pickled vegetables, but if you give them a coupon, they’ll give you some wrapped in paper. Personally, I didn’t like the taste. The ice cream and alcohol were small, like mini-tastings. At least the cherry blossom petal rice cake was delicious.

Worth but need to spare more time to fully utilise the facillity. Most of the shops close at 4pm.

I haven’t enjoyed it, but a friend has used it. It is said that it is very convenient to go to Arashiyama. There are different kinds of food in Arashiyama and there are automatic bicycles for rent.
