Ha Long Bay Nature and Island Hopping Day Tour

Overall, it was a good service. The tour guide was very gentle. The bus was very new and clean. Even with my 186cm tall, I felt very loose. All groups were on time and arrived at the pier before 12:00. One important point, I don’t know if they can keep it, is that they don’t go to the so-called pearl farm and ask you to buy something. The boats are clean and new, and the food is OK, including steamed shrimps, fried chicken, and fried squid. The trip was smooth, but there were too many tourists doing the same thing at the same time. The only problem is the so-called bamboo raft tour, the boat operator is so bad, and the activity itself has lost its original purpose. The most surprising thing is the Surprise Cave. You are not forced to compare tips on the return trip, so we all voluntarily compared tips with the tour guides. In terms of price, I haven’t checked the price at a local travel agency. I don’t know if around 300 yuan is considered expensive. If you want to make money, it doesn't matter. The focus is on the weather. If you have time, look at the 7-day forecast, look at one or two more days, and make a reservation for a good day on a first-come-first-served basis. Usually, you can book two days in advance.

Halong Bay is definitely a must when visitin Vietnam. Just set expectations when traveling on a group 30pax by bus then 50 on cruise. We booked for 2pax for a bus group which is cheaper than a Limousine and the cruise is 2 floor area where in it is already enough for the group to relax and take photos/videos. First stop is VinPearl. We just stroll and check the pearl on display. Took snack and toilet break. After this is the group will now alight the cruise. Note that another group (local) will join the tour (All of us are approx 50). Main 1st stop is Ti Top island. Choose to hike or swim. We choose to hike and enjoy the scenery. Next is Activity Area for Kayak, Slow boat and speed boat. Kayak is free and included and for slowboat, it is $4 per pax. I think speedboat is $10 per pax. We enjoyed the Slow boat due to its pacing. Last is Sung Sot. It is a big cave and a hiking. Food is great and enjoyable. Table size is 6pax then food will be sharing. Afternoon Tea and snack is also good.

Anyone with a day to spare should definitely book this tour to visit Halong Bay. This tour covers the main highlights of Halong Bay. The tour guide, Toan, is humorous and makes the trip fun and lively. The bus is clean and comfy and cruise is luxurious with air conditioning and lunch provided.

At 8.10am, we boarded tour bus and started to pick up other travellers in Old Quarter hotels. 9am, bus started its journey to Ha Long Bay. Bus seats were comfortable as long as you were not seated at the very first row as there were no leg space and pretty cramp too. Along the way, we stopped twice for restrooms and a shop at pearl factory. Once we boarded a ferry, lunch buffet was served. The foods were delicious which it had a lot of seafoods and vegetables to choose from however for drinks they served us a small cup of tea. I had to buy soda cans at 30,000vnd each and had our mineral water bottle drank discreetly. Kayaking, bamboo boat and speed boat not included in these tour and I decided on bamboo boat for 70,000vnd/pax. First stopped was Tip Top island for hiking and picnic by the beach for 45mins. Beautiful sight when you hiked the top of the island. It was pretty tiring but worth the view of the beautiful Ha Long Bay. Second stopped was bamboo ride and on these ride we went through a small cave. Third stopped was Surprise Cave which it took us around 2km to reach the end of the cave and it had 2 separated stairs looking liked a 45 degree climbed. It was a good workout walking in the cave. For sunset party we were served with crackers, sliced cut fruits and a free can drink. Amazing sunset view on the deck however not many chairs for everyone. Reached Old Quarter at 8pm and our tour guide Alan did an amazing job by sharing history of Hanoi and looking after everyone safety for these tour.

Great experience with Wego Cruise and Klook. We visited Halong Bay with family 2nd time and this time the tour was much better and cheaper. The AC bus picked from our hotel from old Quarter area of Hanoi. Our guide Mr. Tuan was very helpful. During beginning of tour we requested him to add Halong Pearl Museum in tour as it was not part of the tour. With our request he added in tour, my daughter loved the pearls so a big thanks to Mr Tuan and team. Food at the cruise was nice vegetarian and had multiple options. He was polite and funny at the same time. He knew good history and explained us well. I must recommend this tour for first time visitors of Vietnam.

The cruise trip was fantastic . Our tour guide was also very jolly and cracking jokes on the way . I guess the vegetarian options are limited but enough to survive. you need to book separately for kayaking or boat riding but that was cheaper to buy there itself in 70,000 dong But overall i really enjoyed the trip .

We love this tour! We were picked up on time, the bus is sooo comfortable and cold. It has charging points as well. The itinerary is well planned and the guide is quiet good in english. There are so many food tho the drinks were not free. We arrived at Hanoi quiet late but it's okay. we had a very comfortable way back home and were dropped near the hotel.

Thanks Klook for making Halong day tour memorable. we choose standard bus from hanoi to halong. Better leg space etc, Guide Luca was nice with all of the members in the team. Lunch buffet was nice and all over nice.

I enjoyed the tour and was amazed by the Ha Long Bay. I also enjoyed kayaking alone it made me feel independent. I met several new friends fron Indonesia and South Korea. Mr. Victor and the bus driver are very nice!

The tour was really convenient and picked you up from your hotel in Hanoi. The tour guide was really friendly and informed everyone of the itinerary once we all boarded. The cruise ship was nice and we visited everything on the itinerary. Highly recommend going kayaking!
