Daintree Rainforest & Mossman Gorge Day Tour from Cairns

Great day tour to the Daintree, but I do feel like the itinerary is a bit rush. We got too little time stopping at the Mossman River Creek & Cape Tribulation (I really wished we had more time in those places). On the other hand, I really love the welcome to country ceremony & introduction to local indigenous culture - really eye opening experience. The river cruise and walk thru the rainforest also came with clear introduction & excellent guide.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Daintree Rainforest and Mossman Gorge with Ben. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every place we visited, and his explanations added so much depth to the experience. Ben was professional, well organised and genuinely friendly throughout the day, which made the tour feel relaxed and enjoyable. The scenery was absolutely magnificent, and Ben’s guidance helped us appreciate it even more. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide — highly recommended.

This travel agency is part of the Cairns Adventure Group. It's a great value tour, leaving early and returning late, and visits many attractions, but the downside is that the itinerary is very rushed! The ecological explanations are professional and interesting, and the lunch is also good (you'll fill out a lunch form when you get on the bus). You can swim at Mossman Gorge, so remember to bring your swimsuit! When taking the river cruise to see crocodiles, it's recommended to sit on the left side. The Wattleseed ice cream is delicious!

One of my absolute favourite tours I've done. Clinton our tour guide was spectacular and knowledgeable in the Daintree Forest from the history to vegetation. The tour was very well planned out. I highly recommend this tour. I didn't get a photo of the ice-cream. I ate it before I could take a photo. The tropical flavours were chefs kiss👌a must try

the overall experience was great. and a tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very informative. Got to experience the oldest rainforest and the best scenic driveway was unbelievable stup. I loved the experience and would recommend it to everyone.🙌

"Daily Itinerary": 7:50 AM Depart from hotel → 9:50 AM Stroll through Mossman Gorge (1 hour - no swimming due to heavy rain) → 12:00 PM Daintree River Cruise (30 minutes) → 2:15 PM Lunch (30 minutes - OceanSafari) → 3:00 PM Stroll through Cape Tribulation (1 hour - rainforest, beach) → 4:40 PM Daintree Ice Cream Company → 7:00 PM Arrive at Cairns hotel (they will drop you off at your designated location). First, thank you to Noel and Clinton for guiding us on a wonderful tour. The itinerary was well-honed and satisfactory for us, a couple in our 20s. The two guides lead the walks at each location, and you don't have to walk around a lot, so even people who aren't confident in their physical strength can rest assured. There were several lunch options, but I wouldn't recommend the burrito. Many people around us left theirs unfinished. Fish & Chips or a salad bowl might be better. The animals you see will vary depending on the season, but we were able to see a cassowary and a sunbird.

our guide was very informative, we enjoyed the cruise the watch salt crocodiles , the ride was smooth and comfortable!

enjoyable trip to rainforest with informative and friendly driver / guide.... ice cream is good ! the mossman gorge is v pretty and good spot for quick swim (although we forget to bring our swimming stuff)

The itinerary runs from 7:40 AM to 7:00 PM, with a lot of travel time by car. Lunch was a simple meal and not very good. There was optional ice cream available (expensive). The tour guide was very interesting, responsible, and provided a lot of information.

It was a great experience. The tour guide came directly to pick us up outside the hotel. He also explained different tropical rainforest knowledge to us throughout the process. We had a good experience of Australia's oldest tropical rainforest.
