Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort Lift Ticket with Equipment Rental

Finally we get to experienced snow even if it's almost off the season. Equipment rental is a must so you can experience everything in the Ski resort. Jacket, suit, boots, sled, snow board, etc must be availed for a hassle free experience.

The resort is great and the snow was so soft and powdery, but they need more staff or better organization when it comes to renting the equipment. It took two hours of waiting in line to get skis, boots etc. We ended up only having about 4 hours of actual skiing time. Also, if you are traveling from Sapporo, be sure to book a shuttle bus at least two days in advance. I feel like this is not clearly explained. We had to get a train to Otaru and then get a taxi from there as all the buses from Sapporo were fully booked, and this was the cheapest available option to get there. The taxi cost 7200 yen. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.

The ski resort itself was good and well-equipped. The beginner course has a long slope, so it may be a bit difficult for beginners. However, I thought it would be cheaper to buy through Klook, so I bought a package through Klook, but it was actually cheaper to buy the tickets and rental items on site. If you are visiting an international ski resort, I recommend checking the prices on the website.

It was really fun and we booked the bus 1 month ahead which was separate from this promo. We also got to choose if we want snowboard or ski. Overall we were very satisfied with the ski resort. :)

The rental location is convenient. . You arrive at the door as soon as you get off the bus. . The rental locations are relatively detailed. . If there are many people, it will be explosive. . You can get one by renting a money service desk. . But if you borrow equipment, there will be a lot of trouble... so the rental time will be longer. . Everyone sets aside time to rent equipment. . The track is convenient and relatively long. . If a novice is skiing for the first time, it would be more appropriate to ask a coach to go with the group. .

Im glad i booked a private lesson otherwise it would have been tedious to rent by myself. the lines were long but my ski teacher made it all quick for us. we weren't able to use the lift pass so it would have been better if lift pass was not included in the package.
