Kamakura & Enoshima Day Trip from Tokyo: Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, Hase-dera, Great Buddha & Mt. Fuji Views

This tour was extremely good value - the pick up was late, however the tour more than made up for it - the whole day was amazing & took you to places you would not be able to see on public transport & certainly not in just one day. I liked that it was small group - we had 15 people, which was the full small bus. Plus our guide and driver. I loved that our guide told us about each place we were going to next and then let us explore on our own - no rushing around following a flag all day !!! My favourite part was Enoshima. I walked a long way back to the mainland from the island, to get the photo I wanted - Mt Fuji over the beach & water !! Just beautiful I then caught a local bus to the famous crossing of the Kamarura / Enoshima electric rail - famous for the scene in the Anime - Slam Dunk. Left at 0745 returned to Shinjuku at 6.45pm Highly recommended

The itinerary was well-paced and thoughtfully planned, giving us enough time at each stop without feeling rushed. Highlights included Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, strolling Komachi-dori Street, the serene beauty of Hasedera Temple, and seeing the Great Buddha up close, truly iconic. Ending the day in Enoshima was the perfect contrast, with coastal views, shrines, and ocean paths that made the experience even more memorable. Transportation was smooth, timing was spot on, and the self-guided structure gave us flexibility while still being very organized. Everything ran exactly as advertised. No negatives, this was a great value and an easy, stress-free way to see some of the best sights outside Tokyo. I would book this again without hesitation.

nice day trip indeed… 7 of us with a guide in a 24 seat van … so comfy … eric gave us all information we need for the day like history of the places, what to eat, where to eat etc. he was the sweetest guide even so helpful taking our pics and make sure that we were having fun …

tour experience was amazing, altohugh guide’s English might need improvement she was very helpful on providing useful information and making sure we know which places to see and even giving recommendations for places to eat, while in the places, she was friendly and helpful offering to take our pictures. This was my first time on a Chinese-English tour, and I found the English-speaking guide to be incredibly detailed. They shared many interesting Japanese legends and stories. Luckily, the weather was great that day, and I was able to capture many beautiful scenic photos.

He diligently introduced the attractions during the trip and thoughtfully prepared maps for the group, making it easier for everyone to understand the directions. He managed the time at each attraction precisely, and the weather was excellent, making for a pleasant travel experience. On July 8th, my family and I, a total of four people from Taiwan, participated in a one-day Kamakura tour in Tokyo. Throughout the trip, we experienced the meticulous service of our tour guide from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, who also shared relevant history and important information about Kamakura. It was truly impressive! Having just watched the Japanese drama 'The 13 Lords of Kamakura' and then visiting Kamakura, it was an unforgettable experience! We are grateful to the tour guides from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and Japan, the driver, and all the staff who made this trip a success! It was a truly delightful day. 😄

Owada-San and Takahashi-San were great! they made the transport seamless and information in each spot was very interesting. owada was very kind and gave us many recommendations for Tokyo and other day trips too. great value for money and a comfortable experience!
