The best thing I did was get these tickets and see so many attractions at once. After the 1st day, I immediately got tickets again for the 2nd day because I didn't manage to see everything on the 1st day. Tips: most temples close from 4 PM, so start quite early.
was a great experience! my friend and I were looking for some guidance on what to do for our day trip in Kyoto. we decided to book this bus and see where the wind took us. we ended up at nishiki market where we spent most of the day shopping and eating. we then just hopped on the bus again, rode the other bus route and just took in the views before getting dinner. it was a great experience and very cost effective as well! I’d highly recommend this bus to anyone looking for some trip inspiration :)
This by far the most worth buy we made in Kyoto. If you have limited time and would like to see Kyoto’s tourist spots then this is the best for you. Bus was on time and guides were helpful. The bus have roofs so we did not get wet when it was raining.
Hop on hop off is my to go list whenever I visit new places. This one is very convenient, hassle free moving around the city. Better to start the day early, I only opted for the 1 day pass it was not enough to visit all the listed sites, I just chosw which one I preferred 1st.
I really like this service and the guide very nice! I will always like to take this service whenever I go, it is so much easier for us especially first time visit, no need to find transport route to go place by place. so convenient!
This tour is great since you can hop off at any location and stay as long as you like until you are ready to move onto the next spot. it's very inexpensive and worth it to not have to find your own mode of transportation.
love this bus. super convenient and takes you to many different spots. was able to use the different routes and get to everywhere I wanted. would highly recommend if you have a day in the schedule as you drive down some interesting streets and even staying on the bus you learn things about Kyoto. you just have to manage your time as the bus isnt as regular as in other cities. I thoighyly enjoy this as a form of transport.
There was a guide on every bus to assist the driver. He ensured the safety of the passengers so that the driver could concentrate on driving. Audio guide was also informative.
