Wajid was an excellent guide! He provided a lot of information during the tour, and thanks to him, we learned more about the region, temples, shrines, and Geishas. The 4:00 PM start time for the tour was perfect since the streets were less crowded, and we even got to see some Geishas at the end of the tour. The late afternoon lighting is an added bonus. Furthermore, Wajid also gave us a regional guide with restaurant recommendations and tips. We highly recommend this tour!

The Geisha/Gion tour was great! We saw many different corners of Gion and our guide Wajid explained the Geisha culture really well. We had a small group which was very nice and Wajid answered all our questions. We also saw some small little streets next to the main streets and tourist attractions which was nice. Thank you again!
One of the Best Walking Tours in Kyoto I had an amazing experience on the Gion Walking Tour! Our guide, Wajid, was friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions about Japanese history, religion, and Kyoto’s culture. He also took us through hidden streets and less crowded areas that I would never have discovered on my own. I learned so much and really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Wajid as your guide!
Wajid was easily one of the best tour guides I've ever had. Even 30 minutes before we started, he reached out to make sure I knew exactly where to meet him, which was super helpful. He made our whole time in Kyoto memorable. He's really smart and knows his stuff, but he's also just a lot of fun to hang out with. His explanations about the geishas and the local history were fantastic, and he managed to be funny, thoughtful, and totally genuine the whole time. He made sure our pace felt comfortable and answered every single question we had. If you want someone who makes history interesting and approachable, he's your guy. You'll be in great hands with him. 10/10 recommend!
