The area is very large, but it's also very crowded. There are many spots I didn't get to see. The upper section is quite steep. There are multiple entrances, so it's best to check them before you go.

The Summer Palace was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The scenery was stunning, with the beautiful lake, traditional Chinese architecture, and lush green gardens. It was also cool and refreshing, making the walk around the palace very comfortable. I especially loved the relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful views everywhere. It was definitely one of my favorite places in Beijing. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easy to use. Recommended because the Summer Palace has various sections inside that require different tickets. With this ticket, everything is included, and you won't have to worry about waiting in line at the ticket counter at the palace entrance.

Mr Ma was our English speaking guide. He speaks good English and very informative. this place is huge so after the 2.5hrs guided tour, you should stay on to walk around.

Did a last minute booking the note before (11pm) and was lucky to get a slot for the very next day. Our guide was Mr MaPingXin, he was very knowledgeable about the history of the Summer Palace and even brought us to areas where the usual guides won't go. Overall, have a wonderful and insightful experience in Summer Palace.
