Kyoto Gion Historical Night Walking Tour

We recently headed on this tour with the guide Yakuri, and it was fantastic! She was such a laugh and a fountain of knowledge. We had a relaxed walk around the Gion District of Kyoto with stops along the way for photos and information from Yakuri. Highly recommend! group size: there was about 15 people on our tour - perfect!

What a great tour. Lee (Shintaro) was a fantastic guide and was so interesting with his facts and information for such a young man. We had a wonderful night walking the streets of Gion and the historical Geisha district, learning about the history of the area and also what is current. With only us and another couple on the tour we all had the privelege of plenty of time for questions and photos as well as lovely conversation. Highly recommend.

The tour was awesome! Yuki our guide was excellent, very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Had some cool stories and taught us a great deal about Kyoto, the Geiko, and Maiko. We even got lucky and he pointed out the most famous Geiko in Kyoto right now that just so happened to stroll by. We got some great food spots from him as well. Definitely have a deeper respect and understanding for the culture here thanks to Yuki. He was overall just awesome! Definitely will be back and telling my friends to take his tour so they can learn just as much as I have.

Ayumi was our guide and she was absolutely amazing. She had so much knowledge and was open to questions. Would recommend this tour.
