What to expect
First Stop: Himeji Castle, Japan's premier castle. Renowned as one of the most representative castles in the world and a masterpiece of wooden architecture. It is known as one of the "Three Great Castles of Japan" along with "Kumamoto Castle" in Kumamoto Prefecture and "Matsumoto Castle" in Nagano Prefecture.
Second Stop: Kobe Kitano Foreigners' Quarter, filled with numerous Western-style buildings, some of which have been converted into museums or art galleries. The entire area resembles a small European town and is perfect for strolling and exploring.
Third Stop: One of Japan's Three Great Night Views - Mt. Maya Night View. Due to winter road closures or travel distance reasons preventing access to the Mt. Maya observation deck, we will visit Mt. Rokko to enjoy the night view. Mt. Maya is located in the Rokko mountain range and is a 702-meter-high peak. From the summit, you can see views of Awaji Island, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, and Shodoshima Island. In particular, the night view from the "Kokuseidai" observation platform is spectacular and is one of Japan's famous three major night views.

Our recent day trip to Himeji Castle turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Japan. The “White Heron ” absolutely lives up to its reputation, with its bright white walls and layered roofs rising above the city like something out of a painting

Nick drove very well and the car was stable, but this itinerary feels like it's just going to Mount Rokko to see the night view no matter what. People who want to book this should consider this.

This tour only included a driver, not a tour guide. probably been more enjoyable with a guide. Timetable was not kept which limited time to eat at our last stop.
The entire excursion was not what we had expected.
