Chengdu Jiuzhaigou Full-Day Small Group Tour

I saw a post about Jiuzhaigou online and it was so beautiful that I decided to go with my best friend on a whim. The high-speed rail was really convenient for the round trip, no need to worry about traffic jams on the road. There were vehicles to pick us up directly upon arrival at Jiuzhaigou, which was super convenient. Jiuzhaigou is really a great place to visit with friends. The lake water is as clear as a spilled palette of colors, and any pose for photos looks great, perfect for a life photo shoot. One day was enough for the tour, and we could still have a late-night snack together in Chengdu on the way back. It was perfect!

My first time visiting Jiuzhaigou, and I was absolutely blown away! The lake water is crystal clear and colorful, like a fairyland. Walking along the boardwalk, every view is picture-perfect. I was particularly mesmerized by the beauty of Mirror Lake and Five Flower Lake and couldn't tear myself away. It was just a day trip, but thanks to the well-organized schedule, I was able to enjoy all the most famous spots, and I have absolutely no regrets. This trip was truly worth it!

The scenery in Jiuzhaigou is truly magnificent, with both snow and green forests. It feels like experiencing two seasons in one day, which is an amazing feeling! The water in Jiuzhaigou is crystal clear, almost transparent. The boardwalks, snowscapes, and 'haizi' (lakes) are all beautiful. Before I signed up, I saw a comment saying it wasn't very good, but after chatting with customer service, I decided to give it a try myself. It turned out to be quite good, and the travel agency's arrangements were very clear.

First of all, Jiuzhaigou is truly beautiful and worth visiting. This trip was fulfilling and enjoyable. Secondly, the itinerary was arranged very reasonably, taking many aspects into consideration and providing us travelers with the opportunity to fully understand the customs and culture of the Tibetan region within a limited time. The driver was very enthusiastic and patient with the passengers, explaining the customs and habits of the Tibetan people along the way, so we wouldn't feel bored. Overall, this was a very rewarding trip.

4 out of 5 stars. This can barely be called a "tour." There were just four of us, plus two others, and we each took the high-speed train to Songpan Station. The travel agency only booked our train tickets and entrance tickets, then gave us a driver's WeChat contact. Once we arrived, we had to contact the driver ourselves. We were all crammed into a 7-seater car for a two-hour drive, and it was incredibly awkward with no one talking. The driver even chose a 0-2 degree Celsius, snow-covered place for a rest stop and told us to get out (see the last picture). It was freezing; who would want to get out? When we got to Jiuzhaigou, the driver didn't even take us to the ticket scanning entrance. He dropped us off quite a distance from the main gate and told us to walk. Once inside, we just wandered around, not knowing the route. I had to quickly check Xiaohongshu to figure out how to navigate the park. Honestly, I can book high-speed train tickets and entrance tickets myself. If you need a driver, there are plenty of women at Songpan Station soliciting passengers to take you where you need to go. Joining this "tour" only saved me that one step. On the return trip, they just dropped us off at Songpan Station and left us to take the high-speed train back on our own. It might be okay for those who speak Chinese, but for foreigners, this "tour" is completely unfriendly. I suggest they simply state that they arrange tickets and transportation, rather than marketing it as a "tour," which is misleading.

Seeing Jiuzhaigou with my own eyes again is absolutely breathtaking! The lake water is as blue as a sapphire, and the reflections underneath are unbelievably clear – it truly is a "fairyland on earth." Wuhua Hai (Five Flower Lake) especially, with its layered colors, is so beautiful it's hard to look away. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing you to fully experience the wonder of nature even on a day trip – totally worth it! And there were absolutely no shopping stops, so you can relax and enjoy the trip.

A one-day round trip is quite tight on time, so it might not be recommended for seniors or young children. However, for young people who can move quickly, a day trip from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou and back is sufficient. The scenery in Jiuzhaigou in late April is already stunning; when the sun comes out, the water sparkles, like a fairyland!

Jiuzhaigou is so beautiful! The lakes are an unreal shade of blue, like a filter cranked up to the max, and the colorful forests are like an overturned palette of paints. My legs are killing me, but my heart is soaring with beauty! ✨

I must give a big thumbs up to the trip managers! They were extremely thoughtful throughout the journey, patiently answering all kinds of questions and even planning the sightseeing routes in advance to avoid backtracking, which saved us a lot of time. During the trip, they also carefully reminded everyone to keep their personal belongings with them and stay hydrated, taking care of us just like friends. There were no shopping stops or hidden tricks the entire time, making us feel really at ease. Such a great service experience has made my impression of this trip even more wonderful.
