I had an excellent experience traveling from Hanoi to Sapa with G8 Open Tour. The cabin sleeper bus was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making the long journey much more relaxing than expected. The seats were spacious, and the sleeping cabins provided enough privacy to rest during the trip. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the journey. Boarding was well organized, and the bus departed and arrived on schedule, which made planning the rest of my trip very convenient. The driver handled the mountain roads safely and smoothly, giving passengers confidence throughout the ride. I was also impressed with the overall value for money. The service, comfort, and convenience exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend G8 Open Tour to anyone traveling between Hanoi and Sapa. It is a reliable and comfortable option, and I would happily choose this service again on my next visit to Vietnam. Highly recommended!
Nice and easy to book in Klook. we Book the G-8 sleeper bus. they arrange the pick up from the hotel in Hanoi and drop off to hotel. we took the 11pm bus and reach Sapa in the morning. great experience. comfortable, clean . complimentary bottle of water and wet wipes. price: reasonable
The G8 employee WhatsApp me one day before the trip about pick up timing from my hotel. Then we were drop off at their G8 office nearby the Sapa Market. They provided some seating area, free tea, coffee for customers. We also exchange a physical ticket by showing the QR code which it need to be checked by the bus driver later. When it’s time to go into the bus, the staff also reminded us. Overall like the whole journey, there were two stops for 30 min each for bio break & fill up the stomach. There was also announcement about when the bus will be stop for a rest. Remember to bring along cash VND3000 each person for the toilet usage.
Overall, I had a good experience with this sleeper bus. The booking process on Klook was easy and convenient, and the staff were responsive and helpful, especially with pickup arrangements. The cabin itself was quite comfortable and clean. It came with blankets, pillows, water, and even some extra features like a massage function and personal entertainment system, which made the long journey more enjoyable. The trip took around 6–7 hours with a couple of rest stops, which felt manageable. However, there are a few things to note. The bus can be a bit shaky, especially on mountain roads, so it might not be ideal for light sleepers or those prone to motion sickness. Some facilities like USB ports or entertainment systems may not always work perfectly, and delays can happen occasionally. Overall, it’s a comfortable and affordable option for traveling between Hanoi and Sapa, especially if you want to save time by traveling overnight. Just manage your expectations and you’ll likely
We messaged their customer service, and they were responsive and spoke English well. They picked us up from our hotel via shuttle service and dropped us off at the G8 Bus Office for free. The staff at the ticketing office were polite and spoke English well. We boarded the bus and departed from Sapa on time – lol! The bus provided sleepers, a plastic bag for shoes, free tissues, a water bottle, air conditioning, a blanket, and two pillows. However, the USB charging port in my cabin was not working. The driver drove carefully, and we didn’t experience any sharp turns. That said, they no longer dropped us off at our hotel.
The contact number listed is updated. They are speaking English and providing, straightforward guidance on boarding time, exact meeting location. When we arrived at the meeting point, staff members approached us promptly, verified our booking efficiently, and accommodated our needs with genuine politeness and care. The bus itself far exceeded our expectations. It was clean throughout, and each private cabin came with a massage function on the bed, a personal TV with headsets, adjustable reading lights, and privacy curtains for comfort and convenience. We were also provided with two pillows, a warm blanket, free bottled water, and wet tissues – all thoughtful touches that made our day trip even more enjoyable. We departed Hanoi at 7:30 am and arrived in Sapa right on schedule at 2:00 pm. Additional perks like free onboard WiFi and USB charging ports kept us connected the whole way, and the driver maintained a safe, steady pace throughout the entire journey.
It arrived a bit later than the scheduled time, but this was disclosed upfront, so it was fine. The sleeper space was perfect for my size, though it might feel cramped for taller passengers. Everything was clean, the driver was kind, the air conditioning worked well, and the massage function was operational.
First time experiencing a sleeper bus from Hanoi to Sapa. The upper berth seats really shake quite a bit, you can even feel it when driving on flat ground. I'm about 5'3" (160cm) and it was a pretty good fit length-wise, but the downside is that the seat back is slightly reclined, so it's easy to slide down or bend your knees while sleeping. The cleanliness inside the bus was very good, not much dust. If you're worried about the blankets and pillows not being clean, you can bring your own disposable sleeping bag. We stopped at a rest stop in the middle of the trip, but I was too tired to even wake up and slept all the way to Sapa. I took motion sickness medicine before falling asleep, plus I was really tired, so I slept relatively comfortably. My friend, who traveled with me, was shaken around the whole way and had trouble falling asleep. Included transportation service: After arriving at the station, there is a free shuttle bus to take you to the hotel, which is quite convenient.
The pick-up to drop off point is seamless. The driver arrived on time and we leave Sapa on time as well. The bus is also clean and well-maintained. Note: Sapa-Hanoi bus do not offer drop off to hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter, Hanoi - Sapa route has the drop off point option to hotels within Sapa City Center.
Overnight travel = time saver: You can sleep while traveling and wake up at your destination. • Comfortable for budget travel: Reclining seats turn into flat or semi-flat beds. Most buses provide blankets, pillows, and sometimes water. • Air-conditioned: Keeps the ride comfortable, especially on long journeys.
