What to expect
This tour takes you to the "Millennial Grassland," a specially permitted area free from artificial light pollution, where you can experience a dazzling starry sky. We offer pick-up and drop-off services from hotels and guest houses in Aso city, so you don't have to worry about transportation.
On a clear day, the Millennial Grassland offers an unobstructed view of the starry sky. Our guides, who are knowledgeable about the four seasons of the Japanese sky, will introduce you to the constellations. If you prefer, you can also choose to spend a quiet time on your own!
The tour also includes local Aso craft beer, sake, tea, and other drinks, so you can sip and gaze at the stars, providing travelers with an unforgettable Aso night. *The fee includes one drink per person. Additional drinks will be charged separately.

- The activity will be canceled in case of rain or cloudy weather. You will be notified 1-2 days before the activity if it will proceed.
- The minimum group size is 4 people.
- Due to weather conditions, there may be situations such as excessively thick clouds, an overly bright moon, or fog, which may prevent you from seeing the beautiful starry sky.
- As the activity location is in a natural grassland within a national park, insects may appear in some seasons.
- Locally brewed Aso beer, Japanese sake, or local tea will be prepared on-site. The fee includes one drink.
- Free pick-up and drop-off are available for hotels in Aso city. Additional transportation fees apply for areas outside of Aso city.
