Reviews
Went to the shop and the staff welcomed us very friendly. I thought the Kimono rental have time limit like Hanbok in Korea but the staff said I can rent until 5:30pm. The staff also so fast in helping us to wear the Kimono. Overall experience was so good and definitely will return to osaka and rent here again. Also, this shop is among the cheapest one in Kyoto, I have done researched on tiktok and most of the kimono rental rate are so so so expensive. Please rent your Kimono here!!! Very recommended~ Hehehe
Great! I booked a slot on the same day since I decided at the last minute. Upon arrival, my mother and I were warmly welcomed. Since we don't speak Japanese, the woman was also able to communicate with my mother in Chinese and with me in English, which was super convenient. We had a choice between yukatas, lace kimonos, and traditional kimonos, and they were all very beautiful. The obi, parasol, fan, shoes, and a handbag that we could choose were included, which made for a beautiful complete outfit. Once we chose our outfits, a Japanese woman helped us put on the complete outfit, and we were carefully styled by her colleague. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience 😊
The service quality was excellent, and the clothes were beautiful. There were over a hundred different styles of clothing to choose from, ranging from yukata to furisode and visiting dresses. The staff also helped me choose the right clothes and accessories. As someone who had never worn a proper-sleeved kimono before, they made me look like a princess. I highly praise the store's attentive and thoughtful service. They also provided exquisite hair and makeup services on-site, with a hairstyle catalog to choose from and a wide selection of beautiful hair accessories. I was styled beautifully from head to toe. We also purchased a half-hour professional photo shoot, and the results were amazing. The overall feeling, combined with the red torii gates, was like a beautiful poster. I thank the photographer for their patient guidance, which allowed even amateurs like us to have beautiful photos. I highly recommend this to friends who want to take beautiful photos and get exquisite hair and makeup. The Fushimi Inari store is worth visiting to create wonderful memories. Experience: Excellent
There were lots of options of kimono to choose from with different season styles, fabric and colors. The dresses looked very new and clean. There were also lots of different accessories from hair pins to bags. Staffs were super friendly and have many ideas on helping you choose the best options for your kimono if you need help. They are also multilingual which was amazing, we communicated with no problem. The kimono was quite big at first but the staff manage to fit it perfectly on me and it did not budge at all when I was out all day. I was worried of the hairstyle that I chose since my hair is not quite long but she managed to tie it perfectly and it stayed all day long even after I took off the kimono. You do have to pay an additional to hair and makeup but it’s totally worth to consider about it. i was sceptical about the options I chose cause it didn’t seem to go together but it turn out amazing. Highly recommend this place if your looking forward to try kimono!
The location is very convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Fushimi Inari Shrine ⛩️. There are many styles and colors of kimonos to choose from 👘. The service staff are all friendly and can provide immediate assistance. They also help with matching colors and decorations. I am very grateful 🥹. I also have to praise the photographer 📹 - Jin Lu (from Tianjin). Even in a short time, she can quickly find secret spots with fewer people for taking photos. Plus, she vividly describes how to pose, making the whole shooting process enjoyable. You can fully feel her enthusiasm and professionalism. I sincerely appreciate the wonderful experience arranged 😊. I also recommend walking to the nearby Tofuku-ji Temple 🍁.
The experience was absolutely amazing! I purchased the hair and makeup package this time, and my hair looked gorgeous. The makeup artist was also super professional. It was even drizzling a little bit, and the store was very helpful in lending umbrellas. Some previous reviews mentioned being asked for compensation if the umbrellas got wet, but that wasn't the case at all. As long as they aren't ripped or damaged, you don't need to pay for them! Also, even though I didn't add on the photo shoot, there were several groups of customers coming back while I was getting my hair and makeup done, and every single group said that the photos turned out great and that they were very satisfied with them. You won't regret choosing this place! 😍😍
I was worried because there weren't many Korean reviews, but the young female owner is very kind and communicates well. The Inari Shrine is red and flashy, so I intentionally chose a simple basic kimono to contrast, but the photos turned out well and my hair was done nicely. If you don't have a sense of style, just ask the staff for a recommendation and they will choose a coordination that suits you perfectly.
I was a little surprised that all the staff were Chinese, but they were all so, so kind, lol. When I went, there were a lot of other Chinese customers too! It's close to the shrine, and the staff who helped me dress was so kind, and they did my hair really pretty and quickly...❤️ They also lend you shoes like traditional Japanese flip-flops and a bag!! The shoes were surprisingly comfortable...? I wore those shoes and took pictures halfway to the shrine, haha. I loved the kimono so much that I got a lot of great pictures. I recommend it to Koreans 👍👍
I accidentally took the wrong subway and arrived way later than my reservation time, but they greeted me kindly. There were still a few pretty kimonos left, and they gave me plenty of time to choose one, which was great. Plus, they had a great eye for picking out kimonos and hair accessories. I added the premium hair service on the spot and didn't feel it was overpriced at all – I was very satisfied. They even offer to fix your hair if it gets messed up on your way back, just ask! They can speak basic Korean words and also English, so you can easily communicate with a translator! They also lend out umbrellas and bags, which helps make your photos look beautiful. If you're visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine, be sure to wear a kimono and take some lovely photos. It was the most satisfying day of my trip to Kyoto! 💕💕
the shop is easy to locate and has friendly staff. the staff assist me well. thanks klook for a very nice service
