Kyoto Kimono Photoshoot Experience

I’m honestly speechless after seeing the photos! I was a little worried before the shoot because I’m very camera shy, but Kuma made the whole experience so comfortable. He guided me through every pose and gave clear directions the entire time, so I never felt awkward. The photos turned out even better than I expected. If you’re thinking about booking a photoshoot, I definitely recommend Kuma. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

We had a wonderful experience with our photographer, Jojo! He communicated with us clearly before, during, and after the photoshoot, which made the whole process easy and enjoyable!! I’m so glad we booked this service! It took all the stress out of figuring out where to go or how to capture great photos ourselves. Jojo guided us to beautiful, less-crowded spots. He gave us clear directions and even demonstrated poses for us, which made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Every so often, he’d show us previews of the shots, which we really appreciated. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we were amazed at how quickly he delivered the final photos — we had them by the end of the day! 10/10 would definitely recommend Jojo for anyone looking for a professional and memorable photoshoot experience in Kyoto

Great experience with our photographer Kuma! He communicated with us well before, during, and after the photoshoot. My husband and I were visiting Kyoto and decided to rent kimonos and have a photoshoot and I am so glad we booked this service, so we did not have to worry about where to go for pictures or who would take good ones of us. I’m excited to have professionally shot photographs as a souvenir of this trip and this experience. Kuma picked less traveled spots for our photos so there were not too many people in the background, but you still got the vintage-Kyoto vibe. He was very clear in his instructions and gave both my husband and me posing ideas (even modeled them for us) so we wouldn’t look awkward or be in the same pose for every photo. Every so often, he would take time to show us the pictures that he took of us. He was wonderful to work with and quick to provide the final photos after. By the end of the day, we had pictures already! 10/10 would recommend!

He also made everything really fun and easygoing, so it never felt awkward in front of the camera. What I appreciated most was how thoughtful he was — he even helped me book a taxi afterwards to make sure I got back safely. I’m glad I did this photoshoot. I’m so grateful for Jojo who did my photoshoot! He is excellent! Book him right away! It’s the best decision ever. My pictures are stunning and this is because of him. He is so patient, helpful and earlier than call time. He actually found me when we got lost in Kyoto hahahaha. But nonetheless, he is an A list photographer! This is such an amazing experience, big thanks to my photographer, Raku, for his work and for having to wait for me because I was running so late. It was pure magic to experience the cherry blossom season while wearing a kimono. I can't wait to experience this again when I come to visit Japan again

Experience: Before trying kimono photography, I looked up a lot of information online and saw that this place had very high ratings and great reviews, so I decided to give it a shot😆 I booked Jojo the photographer in advance, as I saw many people leaving comments praising him👍🏻 During the photoshoot, I could already see that his photography skills were very professional👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 My husband was also very satisfied 😌😌😌 We all had a great time taking pictures 😆 and kept laughing and laughing😆 I received the first photos that evening, and they were unbelievably beautiful, I was ecstatic 😍😍😍 This set of photos has great commemorative value for us, as it's for our 10th wedding anniversary. The photos taken by photographer Kuma were absolutely amazing, exceeding my expectations! 🥰 I really wanted to take some kimono photos as a souvenir during this trip to Kyoto. I'd missed the chance many times before, and as I get older, it's getting harder to maintain my appearance... I saw this activity on Klook, and the sample photos looked great, so I booked it. In the morning, I received a message from Kuma. It was raining, and I was worried the photos wouldn't turn out well, so I hoped to change my morning slot to a later time. Kuma helped me adjust the schedule, which I really appreciated. It didn't clear up that afternoon either; the blue sky only appeared around 4:30 PM. Our photo session was scheduled for 2:00 PM, but it didn't matter; the photos still turned out beautiful. Kuma is very professional, guiding me on how to pose and what expressions to make, sometimes even demonstrating himself. I received the link to the original files that very evening, even before my day was over. The retouching was also done quite quickly! I highly recommend him! 💪🏻 Next time I'm in Kyoto for a photoshoot, I'll definitely book Kuma again! 👍🏻

Raku, the photographer, is amazing! They took such beautiful photos that it was hard to choose the best shots. Every picture had such lovely composition and atmosphere. We were about 10 minutes late because we were putting on our kimonos, and even though it was incredibly hot, Raku waited patiently and was very understanding. Thank you so much! Not only are they great at taking photos, but they also prepared props that matched our kimonos and knew many beautiful locations, so we were able to shoot comfortably following their guidance. I'm usually very awkward with posing and making expressions, but the photographer coached me on poses and expressions, which made it much easier. The editing was clean and natural, which I'm very satisfied with! I especially love how perfectly they retouched my skin. Excellent! Highly recommend!! 👍👍👍 (I'm covering my face because I'm shy, haha..)
