What to expect
In addition to showcasing and selling a wide range of cat-themed products, this year’s Hong Kong Cat Expo 2026 adopts the theme “CowCats”. The beloved star character, an adorable chubby-cheeked cat Gloomie, together with a cast of feline friends, will appear in a variety of Wild West-inspired costumes, including cowboy and cactus-themed outfits. A giant 4-metre-tall inflatable installation will take centre stage at the exhibition, creating an eye-catching photo hotspot and enhancing the overall visitor experience. The Expo will once again bring cat lovers an exciting line-up of activities and themed attractions.
A brand-new immersive photo zone, “Nostalgic Meow Studio”, recreates the charm of old Hong Kong with scenes inspired by traditional Chinese pharmacies, vintage clock walls, classic barber shops and nostalgic convenience stores. Visitors and their feline companions can step back in time and capture memorable moments, with participating cats taking on the role of exclusive “Cat Shop Managers” and becoming part of the nostalgic Hong Kong experience.
Two major art zones, “Meow's Gallery” and “CATS COLLEX-HK”, will showcase an extraordinary collection of cat-inspired artworks, including paintings, sculptures, designer toys and blind-box collectibles. Nearly 30 artists from nine countries and regions, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, France and Russia, will present works created in a variety of media, including textiles, ceramics, copper and wood, offering diverse interpretations of feline aesthetics.
Visitors can also enjoy the 16th CFA Championship Cat Show x Summer Fun Show, as well as “MoCity x Cat Expo – Cats on the Big Screen”, a special programme featuring cat-themed screenings and entertainment. Adding to the artistic highlights, renowned local illustrator MandyCat has specially created a brand-new opera house-themed art installation for this year’s Expo, showcasing a unique fusion of creativity, culture and feline charm. The exhibition will also feature a special display of a rare cat show collar and medal dating back more than 100 years, generously loaned by The Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) in the United States, offering visitors a rare opportunity to view an important piece of international cat show history.

Lots of cat information and products here, and many companies are generous, offering freebies for following their Instagram and Facebook pages. Plenty of cats to pet, it's so satisfying to pet them.
really quick process, just line up in the e-ticket redeem queue and show the qr code then you’re in. First time going and had a great time. Some people brought their cats along so that was cool. Some stalls were giving away cat food freebies by liking their ig/fb page so that was nice. Also, won a cat food can by playing a stall game, bargain! Lots of selections of cat goods and cheaper if bought in large quantities. I personally bought some cat food cans and supplements. Overall good experience 👍
Buying tickets on Klook is super convenient and saves you from queuing! There are tons of cute cats there! They have a diverse range of cat-themed products, and they also give out lots of freebies (some require you to like/follow/share on IG/FB to get them). Overall, it was a great experience and worth the ticket price!
The admission arrangement this time was excellent. It was much more convenient and easier to enter by category compared to the February cat and dog show. The admission in February was very chaotic and took a long time!
I went to see the cat show, and it was packed with people. I bought my ticket and used it instantly, no waiting in line. It saved me time, I could use Klook credits, and I earned points. What more could I ask for?
If I had known that this year’s cat expo would be this extraordinary, I would have chosen to immerse myself for 2 days instead of just 1. A few hours at the venue barely scratches the surface of the excitement. There are countless shops filled with intriguing treasures to discover, and even the opportunity to secure pet insurance awaits.
