Beijing Ming Dynasty Tombs Half-Day Heritage Exploration

Impeccable service from Lily and the driver. We took the tour for two people, a premium electric car with hotel pickup. She speaks fluent English and Chinese; her explanations of the history of the Ming Dynasty, as well as the emperors and the various sites, were very interesting and relevant. She adapted to our pace: we walked the entire Sacred Way, then visited the Changling and Dingling sites (parks, gates, and/or museum and tombs). We highly recommend this guided tour. A big thank you, we had an excellent day!

I have to say it was a wonderful day trip at the Ming Tombs mainly because of the guide Mr Albert and his accommodative nature. I’m traveling with my wife and an under 2yrs old child which can be very troublesome but the guide was so accommodative and patient with us, supporting us in every way to ensure we enjoy the trip without much hassle and pressure. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Ming Dynasty and was able to explain to us in detail about almost every single detail of the tombs, the kings, the history, the items on display etc and all these in English as well as in Chinese. It’s always the people that makes a trip extra special and memorable…Thanks to Mr Albert friendly nature😊

Tom gave good explanation and information of the history of the tombs. The tour provides insights of the tombs of Ming emperors. Interesting to know how Dingling was excavated.

The tour was interesting and enjoyable. Our tour guide Diana, provided alot of information during the tour. Abit of information overload so there were times that we were confused. Diana would patiently repeat and clear our confusion. She also treated us to soft drinks. Special mentioned on our driver who had good navigation skills and was very kind to prepare some snacks and fruits for us to try and snack on. There was one thing we didnt like about this tour was that we were brought to a place that sells jade for lunch. We were asked to see the jades after our lunch. Thankfully, when we rejected, the sales person didn’t persist.

We did the Mings Tomb and our tour guide Andy is very knowledgeable. He described in detail the history of the Mings emperors, the terrains and structure of the tombs. I highly recommend to use Andy service if u ever need to visit Beijing

A very well-commented tour of the Ming tombs by Ms. Summer. A living encyclopedia of the Ming Dynasty. Very attentive, with lots of explanations. An excellent typical lunch with great discussions.

Insightful tour to the Ming’s tombs! Ranee, our tour guide, shared a lot of interesting stories and history of the tombs and emperor. She is also attentive to our group’s needs and takes good care of us. Highly recommended!
