Iris Day Cruise: Ha Long Bay, Sung Sot, Ti Top

This was our first time going on a cruise, and honestly, it was such a fun and exciting experience for both me and my husband. The ship was beautiful and very clean, the buffet was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were all very friendly. A special mention to the tour guide; super fun, engaging, never boring, and a big plus: he was amazing at taking photos! The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the cruise wasn’t crowded at all, so we could really enjoy the ship. There was even a jacuzzi available for free, which was great—too bad we forgot to bring our swimsuits 😅 Overall, it was such a great experience with Iris Cruise!❤️

I spent a wonderful day today at Iris Day Cruise , what an excellent way to start the new year 2026 🎊🎉🥳. The Cruise is Luxurious, offers a very well planned and timely managed tour. I had availed the Limoscine pickup service, the Jacuzzi on cruise , Banana boat ride offered by the cruise and it was perfect. There are multiple food options, Indians can find 5 combo options as well, the cuisines were delicious and filling, free and paid drinks are available. When you hop on this cruise don't miss the live DJ and entertainment in the evening , a must with the scenic beauty of Ha Long Bay from the rooftop. I would really like to Appreciate the Manager Chris for the excellent management , he is very humble , curtascios and helpful. The English tour guide Tom was also helpful and very informative for us to know the history and legends of Ha long bay. Guys please keep this cruise tour in your bucket list of Vietnam visit, what a beautiful country, Happy New Year 🎊🥳

Very relaxing and enjoyable trip. We were really pleased that there is free pick up available from our hotel, and the whole journey to the cruise ship was comfortable. The cruise itself was very smooth and enjoyable too. We enjoy the facilities on the boat (jacuzzi), and the buffet food was nice too (except the desserts, some unfortunately had a strange taste). Itinerary wise, it was a very well planned trip. We arrived quite early (before other people from other cruises), so it was nice to be the only group in Ha Long Bay, Su Sot Cave and Ti Top Mountain. We were pleasantly surprised that we get a free keychain with our pictures taken inside the Su Sot Cave for free! Our english tour guide, Long, was very helpful and explained everything well to us. There was also snacks, Happy Hour and Live music entertainment to end the day which makes the day even more enjoyable. Overall, would highly recommend this tour to friends, value for money!

I attended an event at the end of June, and aside from the heat, everything else was great. (I recommend visiting during a cooler season.) There was a small hiccup when we departed; the driver didn't explain anything, so I got off with the other passengers, only to realize I was at the wrong stop. I immediately contacted customer service, and the representative was very professional, promptly arranging another vehicle to pick me up. On the return trip, they even dropped me off at my accommodation (which is quite far from the city center, with no extra charge). The Chinese-speaking tour guide on the boat was excellent, providing detailed explanations at each attraction, answering all questions, and helping with photos. They were also enthusiastic about resolving any issues we encountered on the boat. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

wow what a fantastic day, Fatima is a true star and is such a great host, everyone was well looked after. the service and food was excellent and the size of the tour is just perfect. you will not go hungry there was plenty of tasty food all prepared by a great chef who knows his game. lots of fun with great music and entertainment was a bonus. staff were very knowledgeable and went out of their way to keep everyone looked after. I was very impressed with the value of the entire day.

The overall experience was really calming. It's a limited no of ppl cruise & you get perfect amount of attention & safety from the members making you feel feel the relaxation through out. The cruise is near and so is the food. Moreover they are organized & on time, giving enough time to explore each spot. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful trip on sea to Halong Bay.

The Iris Cruise was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, including fresh sashimi. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the facilities, including the toilets, were impeccably clean. The onboard jacuzzi added a luxurious touch. Our tour guide was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. The direct hotel pick-up was punctual, and the luxury limousine, complete with massage chairs, made the journey exceptionally comfortable.

Booking this cruise and getting confirmed was a breeze! Considering that I booked the Iris cruise at around 2100 hours, I wasn’t expecting to get coordination from Legacy Voyages in just 10 minutes. Got upgraded too from a booked Limo to a private car so that was an added surprise. Driver arrived on-time, travelled and arrived on-time. Pre-boarding didn’t take long either. As soon as you get on the Iris you will be blown away. Trust me when I say the photos didn’t give it much justice! The Iris is stunningly beautiful and well-maintained. What makes it more special is the crew - from the manager down to the food servers everyone was just truly attentive and pleasant! Food selection from the buffet was also a surprise because you don’t usually expect good and tasty food from such day cruises but Iris was a standout for me. The last thing I’d commend about the Iris is the available seating on the deck! From beautiful rattan lounge chairs to their bar chairs and tables in the cabanas⭐️⭐️

I chose the Chinese-speaking tour, but the guide's voice was already hoarse, and there was very little explanation in Chinese. I didn't hear many stories or much content. I suggest that Chinese guides rotate shifts or find a more lively one. The price was also the most expensive among competitors. The boat was new, and the food was generally edible. Seating was arranged by nationality. The transfer vehicle was very comfortable, and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately, the air conditioning in the Dcar wasn't very cool. The island-hopping itinerary was very smooth. Climbing on Hero Island requires someone with a regular exercise routine; otherwise, it will be very challenging. Overall, the day trip was great and didn't need to be a two-day, one-night trip. We arrived back in Hanoi city around 7:15 PM, earlier than expected, which gave us more time for shopping and dinner. I would recommend this tour for first-time visitors to Hanoi. The boat is newer, and there was a singer performing on the return trip, which was quite enjoyable. There was also a buy-one-get-one-free offer on drinks and alcoholic beverages.
