What to expect
【Kiyomizu Temple】 Kiyomizu Temple was founded in 778 and is famous for its marriage. It is the oldest temple in Kyoto. Since the Heian period, people have been coming to worship the “Kannon of Kiyomizu”.
【Kinkaku-ji Temple】 The official name is Rokuon-ji Temple. Because the outer walls of the core building of the temple, the Sharidon, are all decorated with gold foil, it is nicknamed “Kinkaku-ji Temple”. It is one of the world cultural heritage sites. The temple was built in 1397. Due to historical reasons, the ancient building has been burned down. The current building was rebuilt in 1955 in its original form.
【Arashiyama】 The Arashiyama area consists of two areas, Arashiyama and Sagano. This area not only has rich cultural attractions, but also natural scenery that changes with the seasons and retro trains. There are many ancient temples and shrines here. Tenryu-ji Temple is a world heritage-level monument. From Nonomiya Shrine to Okochi Sanso is a famous bamboo forest trail. As a holy place for cherry blossom and maple viewing, Arashiyama attracts a large number of tourists in spring and autumn. Tickets for the Sagano train are often hard to come by, while in winter and summer, it is very quiet, suitable for travelers who like quietness. There are many old restaurants, Japanese confectionery shops and cute grocery stores in the Arashiyama area. You can also rent kimonos and rickshaws. It is a very suitable place to slow down.

Reviews
Whole trip was great, the view were beatiful and panaromic. Our driver Xiao Ju was nice and very on time on all pick up points. We tried quite a number of Kyoto popular food, had a very nice matcha tea and dessert. Recommend for everyone.
With a dedicated car to pick you up, you can avoid a lot of walking, making traveling with your elders very easy.
The bus picks up and drops off at a designated location, and there is no tour guide or commentary. It is recommended to provide a walking route map for easier arrangement.
Suga (Lin) driver and tour guide. Thank you for a great day today. We also caught the Arashiyama train🚞. Awesome 👏
The tour helps you to cover the wide variety of points of interest in the city of Kyoto. The best, our driver who helped us at all times to locate ourselves and understand the destinations. He was very attentive and patient and pleasant in his dealings. Without a doubt, the best part of the excursion was our driver/guide.

We understand that group tours may require gathering early. We were originally scheduled to gather at 10:00 in the morning, but were informed at 8:36 that morning that we would arrive at about 9:40. However, we were not lucky. JR delays prevented us from arriving at 10:03. The most important thing is The driver said that they had been waiting for a long time and could not affect the other group members. It seemed that my late arrival on purpose had affected their journey. I originally planned to go to Kiyomizu Temple on my own to meet up with the group members, but the attitude of the driver and colleagues was unpleasant and directly affected the trip. mood, so we prefer not to join the group and do not recommend this group😡
When the meeting time came in the morning, the pick-up car was actually late! And the pick-up location is different from the location written on the information. The original itinerary mentioned that there would be a tour guide accompanying us, but it turned out that there were only drivers picking up and dropping off, and no tour guide at all! Very dumbfounding 🙄
There is enough free time, only pick-up and drop-off services are provided, and there is not much explanation. There is enough free time, only pick-up and drop-off services are provided, and there is not much explanation.
If you want to check in classic attractions in one day, this is a very good itinerary. We carried luggage and it was very convenient to go from Osaka to Kyoto. The tour guide was very enthusiastic
