Hokkaido Lake Toya, Jozankei Hot Spring Day Tour（From Sapporo）

The first trip takes two hours. Because it was a minibus, the seats were narrow, so my father felt uncomfortable. But once you get off at the first stop, everything becomes satisfactory. The pure white snow fields and volcanoes in the park praised me for giving up on Biei and changing my route here. From this point on, the travel time became shorter and it became easier. There was a friendly Chinese guide, and he tried hard to explain things using the English or Korean translation function on the bus, which was half Chinese and half Korean. I think it wouldn't be a bad choice if you don't have a bad back.

Fun day trip. Beautiful sceneries at water park and Lake Toya. Bear feeding is fun. Onsen is great. Will recommend

The driver was very considerate and allowed us who arrived early to get in the car and wait, so as to avoid waiting for a long time in the cold weather. The drive was very smooth and comfortable. The tour guide Xiao Sun enthusiastically introduced the stories and features of each attraction. Thank you very much! The whole trip was very relaxing and comfortable. At the end, I had a very comfortable bath in the hot springs and ate delicious grilled pancakes! Big recommendation!

Had an enjoyable day trip. Guides were friendly and responsible. When we reached Lake Toya it was snowing so heavily that we could not see the lake. However, after visiting the next stop, the guides took the trouble to back track to Lake Toya as it had stopped snowing. Lake Toya was beautiful! The Onsen experience was also phenomenal! No regrets choosing this day trip!

The original itinerary was temporarily canceled the day before. The travel agency refunded half the price and arranged another route for us that also included Lake Toya. The emergency response was not bad and it was acceptable.

The driver has a very good attitude, excellent driving skills, and is familiar with the route. He gives detailed introductions to each scenic spot. He is also proactive and willing to take photos for the group members. He speaks with a sense of humor, which makes the whole trip more interesting. Another thing I appreciate is that the tour guide will remind the group members of the gathering time and place, the registration number and contact number the day before departure.

It was my first time to participate in a one-day tour and I felt that I could go to many attractions. However, the time was tight and there were many groups at the meeting point. I had to communicate with the driver in advance to summarize the experience, which was very cost-effective👍

Really enjoyed this tour and it didn’t feel rushed at all! The tour was actually in Chinese but our guide did her best to accommodate us and explain everything in English so we really appreciate it! Highly enjoyed the onsen too, 10/10 would recommend this tour!

I wrote English as my preferred language, but the guide came out not in English but could only speak Chinese, which made me uncomfortable and cautious, and I couldn't understand a single word of the guide's explanation. We only communicated with each other using a translation app for certain content, and the rest sat quietly. It would have been a very awkward trip if the guide had been kind and the Chinese couple riding with us had not been nice people. I left a complaint to Klook's customer service center due to an issue with the guide's language, but there was no response, and it seems they don't respond to customer inquiries after payment is made. The travel course and structure are good. The time is appropriate. However, please note that the Klook service that connects you in the middle is unreliable. (The preferred language was not communicated to the day tour travel agency on the day. They told me to change it because the original date was not selected, so I changed it, but a person came out who did not speak the guide's language. Inquiries from the day of travel were not answered.)

The driver and tour guide are good, but there are only 6 people in this group, so we are traveling in a 9-seater, which is very difficult to sit in. There is a lot of vibration when encountering potholes, making it difficult to sleep. It is not as comfortable as taking a bus, and the trip is quite boring. Not recommended!
