We stayed at APA Hotel Ueno Eki Minami and overall had a good experience. The location is definitely the best part—it’s very close to Keisei Ueno Station (around ¥600 by taxi), and walking distance to Ameyoko Market, Takeya, and many shops and restaurants. Super convenient for both shopping and transport. They also offer express check-in and check-out, which made everything quick and hassle-free. The room is typical Japanese size, but still functional. We liked that you can store your luggage under the bed to save space. The downside for us was the dust/lint in the room, especially on the bed and comforter. I noticed I kept sneezing whenever we were inside, which affected our comfort. Overall, great location and convenience, but housekeeping could be improved.

Hotel is near Kesei Skyliner and Ueno station. Very accessible and near other tourists attractions. Hotel is also clean and complete with amenities. Staff are nice and accomodating.
