the hotel location is good and price is reasonable. However, hotel staff speaks very little English and cannot communicate well so can’t help much if you need any advice or assistance. We stayed 3 nights and room dauly cleaning is limited to only changed towel and floor mat and clear dustbin. they didn’t even make up the bed.

we decided to go snow late and Hakuba village was either stupidly priced or Japanese style rooms with shared bathrooms. after a bit of research found this place, it’s 30 mins by train to Hakuba village station but more importantly is on two snow resort shuttle routes that stop literally at the door to this hotel. the room wax small but comfortable the bathrooms have a low ceiling so if you are over 6’5 it will be tight and the breakfast was very limited for western tastes, but a great supermarket 5 mins walk away, full sided not Lawsons or 711. definitely worth considering if you are coming to Hakuba area to ski and want to use beginner slopes which are just nearby at Jiigatake.
