I like how the hotel uses a manual key that you need to enter from the lobby to the elevators. I thought it would be more archaic than a key card but it was actually easier. I loved how the bathroom separated the toilet from the sink and bathtub, and that the bathtub had a tub and a shower where you can sit. We got fresh towels daily but the only thing I would complain about is that the bathroom didn't have anywhere for us to hang the towels, except for the shower door. Also, we had issues connecting to the wifi and it was really slow.

Hotel was very conveniently located near the gion shijo station and the hotel was very pretty at night! The room was spacious for us to open 3 luggages with ease and also the bed was comfortable with 2 pillows given. The only thing missing is onsen but it's very comfortable stay nonetheless! Would recommend to stay here if you wanna stay around central area of kyoto to explore gion district while being near the train station 👍

Rinn Gion Kenninji is designed to represent the unrealistic space by using the motif of bamboo grove which is like an unending otherworldly scenery. It stands near Gion, the fleshpot representing Kyoto. The Hotel’s atmosphere respects the fusion of the tradition and the innovation using Japanese modern taste. We would like you to appreciate it.
