Amazing resort. The rooms were spacious, clean and really comfortable. Service from check-in to check-out was warm and helpful. The facilities were well-maintained. Breakfast buffet spread was excellent. We actually miss the place.

luxury resort, perfect for a romantic getaway. only downside is accessibility to cheap and good Malaysian food. turmeric restaurant is probably your best bet for “good food”, but apart from buffet breakfast, the lunch alacarte wasn’t great. ain’t sure about dinner. ended up grabbing food for meals.

Stayed at Anantara Desaru Coast & were impressed by the resort service. From the moment we arrived, the staff displayed service excellence. check-in process was noteworthy, & the team made a constant, genuine effort to be felt welcomed. Appreciated thoughtful room decorations provided for us. Villa looks grand & retains a sense of luxury, it’s starting to feel a little old. Drawback was the lack of soundproofing; room did not provide the quiet privacy expected at this price point. Restaurant was a mix of hits & misses. Considering the premium price tags, food quality was disappointing & didn't quite meet our expectations. However, the attentive staff saved the experience. Service—combined with some unexpected "customer drama" at nearby tables—kept us entertained & pleased with the evening. The hardware & dining could use some refinement to match the costs, but the exceptional staff truly go above & beyond. It is their hospitality that makes this resort stand out.

Our entire family had a great stay at Anantara. All staffs were friendly and courteous making our experience enjoyable. The resort atmosphere was always peaceful and we felt safe staying and moving around the place even late at night.
