What I like about this boutique style ryokan with 19 rooms is the onsens which are tastefully designed with good ambience. It has two public onsens, one indoor and one outdoor garden style with a pavilion. Guests can also use on a first come first basis, three outdoor private baths, two in ceramic theme free of charge and one in mineral rock theme at yen 540 for 30 min. We used the two FOC private baths. Romantic and private. Food quality is average though presentation is good. Perhaps the experience is spoilt by an extremely busy kitchen that night as the roykan was fully booked.

Great
Had a nice stay at Miyako with a group of friends. Had sukiyaki and decent assortment of food options for dinner. There was a small onsen tub in our room which flowed constantly (and seemed like a waste of water except it doesn't overflow) but the water temperature isn't as hot as the usual onsens. They also offer public or private onsen which you can book for a reasonable price. Overall, we enjoyed the stay here.
