Our stay at Hotel Metropolitan was delightful. The facilities and staff were excellent, replacing our towels and tidying our beds daily and it was just a wonderful experience. Looking forward to our next stay ☺️ service: excellent cleanliness: brilliant and always kept it tidy for us daily hotel location: close to transport and convenience stores and to local night life/restaurants transport access: only 3 minute walk away

Perfect location. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The scale at the lobby helped us A LOT. The room is a bit too small but you can't ask for more if you are staying at the heart of Ikebukuro with this price. My family told me to stick with this hotel for our next trip to Tokyo.

Glad to have booked my first free and easy trip to Tokyo with this hotel. Staff was helpful and attentive, special thanks to staff who loan us the cloth tape when my shoe gave away on our 2nd night and also her advice to get the tape from Donki and its location. Will definitely come back for our next trip.

Good location, very near to JR station, and there is a Family mart just a few steps away, everything was ok during our stay, except the man at the check in counter was not really friendly and he looked upset while assisting us. The twin room we booked was quite spacious.

The front desk staff was all very nice. They were cheerful and helpful no matter it is early morning or late night. Charging ports in the guest room are well located and sufficient. Amenities are good but the wifi was horribly unstable. It got disconnected way too many times and it happened to all of my and my family members' devices. It would be nice if a mirror can be provided at the desk so the toilet won't be too packed.

Pros: location, transport access, eateries, cold air aircon. Cons: service is not very warm, the cupboard is placed at a weird area which is sandwich in between a wall and the bed right in the corner that you have to squeeze in to get your clothes and shoe horn. The tap is hot and cold kind and it's winter now so u have to tune it carefully to warm everytime sigh
