Great Location, Excellent Breakfast and Friendly Staff Dai-ichi is an older five-star hotel, but it is very clean and well maintained. Some bathroom fixtures and faucets are old-fashioned and basic, but cleanliness was never an issue. The location is excellent, with a subway entrance directly across the street and Shimbashi Station just 2–3 minutes away. The hotel offers two breakfast options: à la carte on the second floor and buffet on B1. We tried both and loved the quality. The à la carte breakfast had a good selection, especially the fresh and delicious bread. The buffet also offered a great variety of high-quality food to suit different tastes. The staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we were very satisfied with the cleanliness, location, breakfast, and service. I would definitely stay here again.

Couldn't ask for a better hotel - value for money, utilities, scrumptious breakfast (lots of variety for vegetarians as well), efficient check-in / check-out, courteous staff and cleaning crew, insane choices in toiletries (I wonder which person can use all the variety if the stay is 3-4 days) and cozy / comfortable beds.

this hotel is centrally located, clean and has friendly staff. we were traveling with two of our kids and the room was spacious enough for the rfour of us, which I understand is hard to come by in Tokyo. I would pass on the lobby cafe. at 1,800 yen for a capacino I found this to be double the price of any other cafe on the area. if you like the great ambiance, it could be worth it, but for us travelling with two young kids, it was not. Otherwise this is a great hotel, in an amazing area of the city. We will stay here again in the future.
