Location is great. Taking the Airport Line, it’s only 3 stops to Gion Station and from there, an 8 minutes walk. There are elevators all the way from the station to the hotel so even with many luggage, it is okay. From the hotel, you can walk to Kawabata Shopping Aracde, Canal City Hakata and Hakata Station, all within 5-20 minutes. Very convenient location! The staff are friendly and they always greated me happily. Communicating in English is okay for them. There is a bathtub in my room, I use it everyday, I like it a lot. The toilet and shower are separated so it’s convenient for couples. Water and towels are given everyday and the room is made up every 3 days, as according to the law. There are toothbrush, slippers, hairdryer (super good), soap, refrigerator (no freezer), closet and safe provided. They even gave hand drip coffee from Hoshino Coffee and I thought that was really good. I stayed on the 9th floor. There were windows but since there was a sliding door infront of it, there wasn’t much view to enjoy. That’s okay with me though. However, I did feel that the room were not very clean even after making up the room. I could see some of hair and strands of linen here and there on the bed and in the toilet. After the first make-up room, there was rubbish inside the room, right infront of the door. Not the most pleasent sight to come back to but I’m sure it was just a genuine overlook. The pillows were not great too, too flat and hard. I did managed to sleep just fine though. Even though it might not look like it, the soundproof is actually done quite well in my opinion. I feel that the location of the hotel, size of the room and facilities were great value for the price. A good stay overall. I would definitely consider coming back here if I’m ever in Hakata again.
