Lovely hotel and staff. I do wish they allowed tattoos, as it was not super clear when I booked. Other onsens do in the town, so it was fine. just would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Love the traditional style room, as if travelling back in time.
Most of the guest house around has modernised, so having a traditional room is definitely a nice experience.
Package includes a onsen hopping pass too.

We had a wonderful stay here at this ryokan. The staff were very kind and lovely. They allowed us to check-in early, upgraded our room and they even gave us one piece pouches when I mentioned that we love the anime one piece. I love this place and I definitely would love to come back again. The onsen in the hotel was nice as well, a bit old but well maintained. Visiting kinosaki onsen was the highlight of our japan travel and staying at this ryokan made it more memorable.
