Things to do in Mount Bromo

We signed up for a private tour departing from Surabaya this time. The tour guide, Hans, speaks excellent Chinese and is very attentive. He even brought raincoats for us in case it rained. The sunrise viewpoint he took us to was amazing, and he also helped us take many beautiful photos. This Bromo tour was the highlight of our trip to Indonesia. It was very worthwhile, and we highly recommend that everyone look for Hans to lead the tour! 👍

We really enjoyed our Bromo trip and our tour guide, Riza, made it even better! He provided everything we needed — thermal blanket, heat pack, waterproof phone case — you name it! Super attentive, friendly, and fun, always checking if we were comfortable and helping us get the best photos and viewpoints. The restaurant that we’re taken also serve the best food. The whole trip was better than expected. Rey was on time to pick us up at the hotel and attentive to our needs throughout the trip. The sunrise viewpoint for the private tour had a great view. If you want to ride a horse to the foot of Mount Bromo, Rey will also help you rent a horse at a reasonable price. I think this trip is very worthwhile.
