Things to do in Kintamani

We had such an amazing experience with our guides! Our driver, Kadek, was incredibly kind, friendly, and hospitable. He had great recommendations for local food, activities, dining, and nightlife, and was even super helpful when we needed to figure out how to get cash out internationally through local banks. He was funny, patient, communicative, and always willing to help. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better, more trustworthy driver! Our Jeep driver, Lya, was the absolute best! She constantly made sure we were comfortable and went above and beyond to help us get the best photos on Mount Batur. She knew all the best spots, showed us how to pose, and found the most insane and unexpected angles. She kept encouraging us to take more photos to make sure we got the best ones! Overall, Kadek and Lya were some of the best guides we’ve ever had. They made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. We’re so grateful and would 100% recommend! 10/10! ❤️

Komang is such an amazing photographer! He was incredibly patient, constantly looking for different angles and asking us what kind of shots we liked. He then continued shooting based on our preferences and was truly dedicated to capturing every moment for us. From the moment we arrived, he captured everything from the starry night sky to the dawn and sunrise! 🌌🌅 Not only did he take amazing photos, but he also made videos for us. 👍🏾 We absolutely loved the results and really appreciate all his effort!

We decided a charter was the best way to enjoy Ubud, so we booked through Klook! After discussing with my husband, we requested to definitely visit Bali Swing, ATV, and Kintamani. First up was Bali Swing! It was fun, like an attraction that combines a swing and photos. After that, we headed to the ATV. My husband and I rode a two-seater, and I was the driver. We zoomed through bumpy and muddy roads; it felt like a hardcore go-kart experience. Kintamani was a bit far, but the mountains and lake were beautiful, and we relaxed in a hot spring pool while sipping beer. Afterward, we visited a coffee plantation and tried civet coffee before heading back. Along the way, we had great conversations with the driver and even taught him some Japanese!

Incredible views at the top of Mount Batur. The trek up the mountain was quite steep at some sections, but it was worth all the effort. Our guide, Nyoman, was very accomodating and he made sure we stopped to catch a break and rehydrate at regular intervals. He also conversed with us about his life in Bali and points of interest, which made the hike feel a lot shorter! At the top, he prepared a simple but filling breakfast with a hot drink for us to warm up, and took some great pictures for us. Nyoman made this hike a very memorable experience, and I would recommend him to everyone! Our driver, Berig, later took us to our next points of interest, which were ulu petanu waterfall and the pictureresque Tegallalang Rice Terrace. Both locations were great for photos and Berig also helped us take some photos. Overall, this tour was an amazing experience thanks to our hiking guide and our driver. Would highly recommend!

We had Putu as our driver for our Mount Batur ATV sunrise experience, Black Lava, and waterfall trip, and he was absolutely amazing! He was punctual, friendly, helpful, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire day. He was very patient with us and made getting from place to place so easy, especially with the early morning start. He also gave us great recommendations and made the whole day feel smooth and stress-free. Really appreciate Putu for taking such good care of us. Highly recommend him if you're looking for a reliable and friendly driver in Bali! 100/100! 🙌🔥

What an absolute blast of a family adventure! 🌋 Tearing it up on the ATVs over the lava rocks was epic. Our guide, Putir, was a total rockstar—keeping us safe but giving us 20 glorious minutes of pure freedom to rough it across the dunes! (Plus, he took amazing photos and videos! 📸) We wrapped up the adrenaline rush with a relaxing dip in the hot springs though the facilities could use a little TLC. Add in a cool science trip to the coffee plant where we scored a massive haul of flavored teas, coffee, and chocolates! 🙌 Big thanks to Indra and the team for an unforgettable day! 🥳✨
