great adventure to tour round some key attractions in penang..one day would be enough but can always come back another day

It was an extraordinary experience with straightforward communication with the tour guide for pickup. The areas visited (Penang Hill with the funicular railway and the Kek Lok Si Temple) were impressive. Especially around the time of the New Year festival, the temple was decorated with many lanterns. There is so much to discover and see, you could spend a whole day there. It was simply great! On the way back, you can also be dropped off at a Hawker center for lunch instead of returning to the hotel hungry.

Ranjit - our driver / guide displayed high levels of hospitality. He showed us the Kek Lok Si Temple and Penang hill. He was very knowledgeable about the places and it’s history. Tour guide Ricky Ooi had been in close contact with me before I set off. The original itinerary specified a meeting at Long Cheng Hotel. He flexibly arranged to pick us up at our hotel in George Town, which made us feel at ease 👍🏻 and arrived at the hotel in advance. He introduced us to the precautions and items of the relevant itinerary, so that we arrived at Penang Hill as soon as possible and took the first cable car 🚡 and guided us to the best position in the car to enjoy the scenery along the way 👍🏻 Advance reminder of various attractions, the wonderful places made us dazzled 👍🏻 The most exciting thing was that under his guidance, I enjoyed a perfect sunrise for the first time in history 🌅 The red sun suddenly rose on the horizon, which was shocking 🤩 Because it had just rained the day before, the sky was extremely bright, showing golden clouds, even the people on the day shouted that they had never seen it before, and finally saw a rainbow 🌈 It is really a rare opportunity 🧚🏻‍♀️ The most fortunate thing is that we were able to bump into Vicky, who has more than 30 years of tour guide experience. His professionalism is impeccable. The angle of the story of each attraction is very good. He also took care of our needs and took us to the Siam Sisters Curry Noodle Shop, which has won Michelin for two consecutive years, for breakfast and tasted the taste of food 👍🏻 RICKY is very experienced in leading private tours. He knows that customers have their own preferences, so he arranged flexible time and introduced the characteristics of the market in detail first, gave us time to move freely, and also treated us to the local specialty fried bananas 🍌👍🏻 When we were finally sent back to the hotel, it was still before 3:00 pm. He used his previous status to help us successfully lobby the hotel to let us check in early 👍🏻 Next time I come to Penang, I must find Ricky as a private tour guide 👍🏻 He is really a five-star tour guide 🤩 I sincerely recommend it to everyone 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Mr. Ong is a very good tourist guide. He is well versed of the area and explains the history well. He also knows good places to thrive, dine and even walk for a tourist like us. Highly recommended guide.

There should be a 10 option for rating because that is how great this tour is! The tour guide, CC, is very knowledgeable of Penang history, and he also shared more context on the different temples and Chinese associations in Penang. The tour itself allowed us to see the different cultures that have existed in Penang and how they live in harmony. The tour has given us a different perspective of Penang and how important it is to the trade routes back then and until today.

Such a great trip. A must do activity. Eddie was one of the best guides we have had. Perfect timing. Learnt lots. Scenery great. Stops spaced well and lots of variety. Only negative was didn't get a confirmation the night before but did get an email early morning of. Would highly recommend this day trip.
