Things to do in Lukang Old Street

Our guide Mr. Lai messaged us a day before the tour for the meetup location. Thankfully there are reviews here that helped me figure out where exactly the South 1 Entrance/Exit is. Nearest landmark is exit M3 of Taipei Main Station then head left. :) This is the second time that I visited the Meteor Garden filming location. I DIYed a few years back and was pressed for time. this tour gave us enough time to roam around and Mr. Lai helped us find the locations easily and showed us which scenes where filmed there. Since I was a solo traveler, he took my photos and sent it via Airdrop. Though Mr. Lai doesn’t speak English well, he made sure that he communicated with us via a translator app. The inclusion of Zhongshe Flower Market was also nice because we got to visit 2 places in just one day trip. Even if these places were far from Taipei, I can definitely say that it’s definitely worth your money.

highly recommended, especially since the location is almost 3hrs away from Taipei. less hassle and very convenient. Our tour guide, Sir Peter, is also very fun and accommodating. thank you for giving us a a tour and letting us reminisce our Meteor Garden childhood memories.

Vincent is the best tour guide I’ve had in Taiwan. He makes sure the people are entertained AND well-rested the entire trip. Although we were not able to have a picture with SanCai’s locker, I would like to commend Vincent for checking ALL the entrances hoping we could get in. He also made sure that my sister and I get on the correct bus from National Chung Cheng University to Chiayi Train Station since we opted to stay the night in Chiayi. He communicates well and explains things as detailed as he can. Kudos to Mr. Vincent Wu! We appreciate your efforts.

I’m so ecstatic that Klook offers this Meteor Garden tour, especially curated for Filipino fans! This was my second time visiting National Chung Cheng University (aka Ying Dee), but my first visit in 2019 was DIY and I missed some of the highlights. This time, with Klook, I got the full experience! Our tour guide, York Hsieh, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole trip extra special for us Filipinos—he even played Josh Santana’s Tagalog version of “Qing Fei Di Yi” on the bus, which brought back so many memories and really set the fan mode! York also shared lots of local recommendations, which made our travels even more enjoyable. The tour isn’t just about the university. I loved the stopovers in Taichung, especially at the Zongshe Flower Market (so beautiful!) and the Liphao Outlet Mall—sneakerheads like me will go crazy for the great deals here. The bus was super comfortable, and our driver was careful throughout the trip. Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations.
