this is also a great experience. I got my digital picture as souvenir but it's okay not to get it. You can take pictures for 60seconds on the location where they took pictures of you. Furthermore, if you love art.. you will appreciate the mirrored design of the place. you can also see the Empire State Building

Top of The Rock offers one of the most iconic, unobstructed skyline perspectives in Manhattan, widely praised for its sweeping 360-degree views that directly frame both the Empire State Building to the south and Central Park to the north. Spread across multiple indoor and outdoor viewing terraces on the 67th through 70th floors, visitors frequently note that the open-air top deck—free of glass partitions—is ideal for photography, especially around sunset when the city lights begin to glow

The day after I had to cancel my visit to Top of the Rock due to a delayed arrival in New York, I was taking a morning walk toward the Empire State Building and unexpectedly noticed that the line for it was empty. I booked it right on the spot using the Klook app! I was able to enjoy the visit without a hitch. Ease of booking with Klook: Easy

Fantastic 5.0
I can't believe I got front-row seats! My seat was Orchestra Row A, 112. Since seats are assigned randomly, you never know where you'll end up until they're confirmed! I had to look up quite a bit, so I imagine a seat closer to the middle would offer a better, more comprehensive view. However, being so close, I could really feel the actors' sweat and the vibrations, which was incredibly powerful! I even dozed off a little from looking up so much. There was a scene where Genie handed his hat to the conductor, and the conductor looked over at us and smiled, which was adorable. Being in the front row allowed me to witness moments like that. The magic carpet scene was truly, truly, truly like flying, and I was staring intently, trying to figure out how they did it. It was that amazing! Everyone's costumes were so sparkly and wonderful, and the actress playing Jasmine was incredibly beautiful and cute; I was captivated. There's a line for the restroom during intermission, but there's plenty of time, so don't worry. Many people were also buying drinks and souvenirs during the break! I think it's a good idea to arrive at the venue about 30 minutes before the show starts.

The American Museum of Natural History is truly well worth a visit! The museum features an abundance of exhibits, ranging from dinosaur fossils and taxidermy to the history of the universe and mankind. Each exhibition area is full of knowledge and surprises, making visitors feel as though they are stepping into a wonderful journey of exploring nature and history. The overall layout is well-designed, and the presentation is very engaging, so even those who are not particularly fond of museums will find it extremely interesting. The dinosaur exhibition area is especially impressive; seeing the giant fossils in person is breathtaking. Highly recommended for anyone visiting New York to make time to see it!

What to know before visiting New York

What to do and when to go

New York draws most visits for Museums, Observation decks, Events & shows, Attraction passes and Tours, and the year has a clear rhythm in Klook booking data. Demand builds through spring into a summer crest: May and June register as peak months while October sits at the trough. That seasonality shapes what to prioritise — outdoor viewpoints and events are busiest in summer, museum and indoor options stay viable year-round. For planning choices, pick between peak-season atmosphere and smaller crowds; Klook booking data shows when each mood is likeliest.

Best months to visit and price trends

Klook booking data shows demand peaks in May and June and falls to its lowest in October, while prices drift across the year with a clear summer high and a cheaper late-spring to early summer run. The priciest month on Klook bookings is July with a typical price of SGD 112, and the lowest typical paid price appears in June at SGD 18; demand and price align in summer (high demand, higher prices) and diverge in early autumn when demand drops but some prices stay moderate. If you want smaller crowds and lower typical prices, aim for January–April or June; for peak atmosphere choose May–July.

Month Demand Level Typical Price
January Quieter than usual SGD 48
February Quieter than usual SGD 31
March Busier than usual SGD 33
April Busier than usual SGD 31
May Peak demand SGD 23
June Peak demand SGD 18
July Peak demand SGD 112
August Very quiet SGD 103
September Very quiet SGD 68
October Very quiet SGD 67
November Quieter than usual SGD 108
December About average SGD 90

Demand compares bookings in that month with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Where to stay by typical nightly price

Klook booking data shows a clear split in typical nightly hotel rates across districts. The most affordable district is The Bronx with a typical nightly rate around SGD 181, while the priciest is Manhattan at around SGD 351, a gap of roughly 48% between them. Cheaper districts tend to suit travellers prioritising budget, longer stays or more space for the price; pricier districts suit travellers who want a central, headline neighbourhood experience and are happy to pay more for it. Use those trade-offs to pick the right balance for your trip.

Tips for travellers from Singapore

Most travellers from Singapore lock experiences in advance — Klook booking data shows they typically book about 17 days ahead, while the earliest planners book around 51 days out. That means build some planning into your schedule: you have flexibility to book within a few weeks, but during May–July (the peak months) booking earlier pays off. Last-minute options exist — many things are still bookable about 2 days before — so you can be decisive on the move. Book on Klook to secure timed entries and popular slots, and adjust bookings as your itinerary firms up.
