the tour company borneo calling was so organised ! the point of person Mei, gave timely updates and checks to ensure that everything goes smoothly! on the day we arrived at the kinabalu lodges, the check in was smooth, rooms were very clean ! on the day of the hike, we were introduced to our mountain guide: Sofian. He was so nice and encouraging during our hike up and as well on the way down. We can see that safety was the number one priority during the whole hike. the weather was not the best. there was heavy rain on the first day as we hiked up to panalaban and it was told that if the weather remains rainy, the hike to the peak may be cancelled. Luckily however, the rain cleared but it remained cloudy at the top. it was often also explained to look out for signs and symptoms of altitude sickness which was very important. The hike up to Low's peak is tough however worth it. highly recommend! still not an easy hike

Provided by SeaQuest, snorkeling at Sapi Island includes boat transfers, but not an instructor. However, you can see many small fish near the shore.

Tour guide John spoke entirely in Chinese throughout the tour because the entire group spoke Chinese. We were lucky enough to see proboscis monkeys and fireflies like a Christmas tree waterfall (my phone couldn't capture it, but the tour guide provided photos as souvenirs). Having the fireflies gently land on my hand was a wonderful experience. The tour guide also introduced Durian Street (I walked past it the day before and thought they were just regular stalls, the tour guide didn't explain it. I also learned about Sabah fruit and durian which only come from Sabah and are cheaper. If you like durian, you can try it). He also introduced Gaya Street, and after the firefly tour on weekends, you can get off here to take a stroll. Experience: Excellent

Our guide and driver, Sulani, meticulously introduced us to several different types of monkeys in the rainforest, and we saw at least three kinds. The fireflies twinkling along the riverbank at night were also an experience we had never had before!

The local guide contacted me via WhatsApp to coordinate the pickup time and location for the tour, which was very timely and efficient! Although it started with a heavy downpour that day, we were lucky enough to see several proboscis monkeys up close, constantly eating, right after setting sail! The ever-changing sunset scenery after the rain was breathtaking, and the amazing fireflies we saw after dark were equally stunning and unforgettable! Although the journey was a bit long and bumpy, it was definitely worth the trip and the price!

Steve is such a great guide where he explained everything in detailed. However, for the dinner food maybe can improve on that part. Overall, the trip is nice and we all had fun.

It was a fantastic trip. Our tour guide, Oliver, was responsible and amazing. She helped us spot the animals, shared her knowledge, and assisted us in taking many beautiful photos. We managed to see proboscis monkeys and other wild animals. It was an unforgettable and truly worthwhile trip for us in KK.

The weather wasn't great. It rained before the tour started and throughout the entire tour. The Chocolate Kingdom wasn't originally on my itinerary. Nevertheless, it was worth visiting, although the road to the jetty was incredibly congested. Our team guide, Timmy, is an excellent driver. He seems to know all the routes and quickly guided us through back roads. Despite the rain during the monkey and firefly tour, he made an effort to ensure we could still see everything. Thanks to him, we even saw the proboscis monkeys moving around. Everyone enjoyed the local-style dinner. Although we couldn't see the sunset due to the rain, it was still a good tour. Next time, I definitely want to see the sunset. Timmy was friendly, and the tour was fantastic.

The cleanliness of the waiting area, the neat and delicious meals, the relaxation away from group tourists, and the kind guides all contributed to a satisfying experience.
