New Taipei Day trips

The entire tour was smooth and fun. We’re really grateful for our tour guide, Libby, who never missed on giving us the necessary information and clear instructions before we could reach our next destination. They’re very particular with the schedule though and we completely understand since it’s a holiday and that’s why we’re also thankful for Libby for the constant reminder of the time. All the sceneries were worth seeing. It began to rain hard in Jiufen though so it was very foggy but we were still able to visit the tea house (it was closed though). Just an FYI that many well-known shops are closed and they close early (before 4pm) during CNY’s eve so manage your expectations when you travel during this time of the year. Overall, Libby gave us so much convenience during the tour. She’s a really great guide.

The hiking was worth it because the scenery in this trip was incredible. Cipher was also an amazing guide with his very helpful tips and he even introduced us to some of the most amazing food I have tasted here in Taiwan.

Our tourguide Iris Lien was ver friendly and engaged, kept up the good spirit despite heavy rain ! The Shifen Old street felt little stressed because of the mass and the lantern ritual, but in general it was a well planned tour :) Personal Highlight was the Cat village

Barbie was very kind and accommodating. It was mostly Japanese tourists in our group, but she was able to communicate with all of us in EN/JP at the same time, which was super cool. She also let us go on our own around the town with the help of the map she made. Besides tasting the unique Jiufen snacks, we got ourselves some ginger tea and special custom surname calligraphy souvenirs. Please take note of how crowded the place can be, but adjust yourselves accordingly and let it not ruin your trip. Thank you for the tour, Barbie! My husband and I enjoyed the entire visit to a damp misty Jiufen.

This was my first time joining a Jiufen tour with Klook, and the overall experience was very pleasant. Although I have been to Taiwan many times, I still had many new discoveries and feelings through this trip. The tour leader, Richard, was very professional and attentive throughout the trip. He explained the characteristics of each scenic spot clearly and understandably, and also shared the stories and cultural background behind them, allowing people to have a deeper understanding of Taiwan. In addition, he thoughtfully recommended must-try delicacies in the night market, so we didn’t have to worry about what to eat and could easily enjoy the local flavors. Even in familiar places, with a guide leading and explaining, you can re-experience them from a different perspective. Overall, I am very satisfied with Richard's professional attitude and the itinerary arranged by Klook this time. It was a relaxing and fulfilling trip.

Our tour guide is very friendly and nice , he explained everything to us especially about the leaves and the dream catcher in wulai old street. the scenic view is so beautiful and relaxing if you are nature lover , i’d love to see the local people sitting there enjoying the view and the sounds of the falls some people doing some exercises.The old train is also nice experience though it’s raining that time but its ok. overall the best experience for us.

This was a self-guided tour, so there was no tour guide, but overall it was a great experience! The itinerary was clear and easy to follow, and each stop was enjoyable. Everything was organized well, making it convenient to explore with plenty of time each place. I would definitely recommend this tour my family and friends.

We had a tour booked with A Wei and it was a wonderful experience. We were picked up directly from our hotel, which made the day very convenient and stress-free. His tour plan was very well organised, and he was punctual, friendly, and professional throughout the day. The itinerary covered Yehliu Geopark, Golden Waterfall, Jiufen Old Street, Cat Village, Shifen Waterfall, and the lantern experience. We had a great chance to explore Yehliu Geopark and Jiufen Old Street, but unfortunately heavy rain started later in the day. Despite the weather, A Wei still took us to all the remaining spots and kindly showed us around as much as possible. This was our first time in Taiwan, and we felt very welcomed and well looked after. We truly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend A Wei to anyone visiting Taiwan.

We really enjoyed our Klook tour covering Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen Old Street, Taoshi Bus Stop, Yin Yang Sea, Golden Waterfall. We honestly didn't expect the tour to feel like a private car experience, there were only 8 of us in the vehicle, which made the trip very comfortable and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Sir Bratt Kao was very kind and attentive. At Yehliu, he did'nt just show us the Queen's Head, he also guided us through the other famous rock formations and explained their history in detail. In other tours, Yehliu is usually selfguided, so this made a big difference. This was already our second time visiting Yehlie and we preferred this experience more because the group was small, and the guide was very hands-on, explaining the history of every place we visited 😊 Overall, the tour was very enjoyable and definitely worth it. Highly recommended!
