Our guide, Alisia, was excellent, providing a soft-spoken and friendly tour. She guided us in both Chinese and English, with 14 years of experience and a calm demeanor. She even sang for us, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We visited on a Sunday by bus and learned that the Hinoki (cypress) trees are truly massive, and Alishan is an incredibly vast mountain. Since it's an all-day journey, we recommend bringing snacks. Of course, there are food stalls available along the way.

We had a fantastic and enjoyable day on July 20th, led by our driver and tour guide, A-Ping. She promptly added my contact information and noted our pick-up and drop-off times and locations, which was incredibly helpful for someone visiting Taiwan for the first time! The entire day's itinerary included departing from near Taichung Station, then visiting Cingjing Farm, checking out The Old England Manor, and finally, Sun Moon Lake with a boat tour. Her management of time, the journey itself, and the comfort of the ride were all top-notch, earning a huge thumbs up! This experience further deepened my appreciation for Taiwanese people, especially listening to the stand-up comedy at Cingjing Farm – it felt like being at a live recording of 'Kangxi Coming,' so many great jokes! Even as we reluctantly got back in the car to head to the next spot, Sister A-Ping's witty remarks kept coming, instantly intensifying my desire to live in Taiwan. Magically, I even drew a 'Great Fortune' lot at Xuanguang Temple at Sun Moon Lake, and I hope everything goes smoothly in the future! Thanks again to Sister A-Ping for leading us; I loved every place we visited!

The tour was fun, convenient, and worth the price! We visited beautiful places in Taichung, and everything was well-organized. Our guide was friendly and helpful, and the bus was comfortable. We had enough time to explore and take pictures at each stop. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Taichung!

Ease of locating the meeting point and although there is no tour guide provided on this day tour, it is very self-sufficient. The tour to Sun Moon Lake is enjoyable with lots of food choices. But for those who would like to explore the island by cable car, ferry or the bus, this half day tour may not be enough. The other half day is to visit a chocolate factory, stopover for donuts at a cafe and a visit to Paper Dome.

Would have been better if the guide can speak in English (specifically chosen English speaking guide in Klook) nevertheless he’s still trying his best to communicate thru one of the guest who can speak English. He would consistently offer taking a photo during the trip.

Our driver, Yang, picked us up right on time and picked up 3 other people. Our group had 7 people in total riding in his Mercedes Benz. Super comfy. We had 2 stops before heading to Alishan. 1st was short and we saw a guy walk over firecrackers. 2nd, we had a bento lunch with the mountain view. We finally made it to Alishan Park. The roads were windy and bumpy so if you have motion sickness, be prepared with medicine or saltine crackers. It's a long ride into the park. Yang took us around the park & showed us the best places to take pictures. He took photos for us and sent through Whatsapp. He even made a video for us as a keepsake! He also brought us to a tea farm afterwards! The ride back was also hard for those with motion sickness, but I made it. Yang dropped off the other passengers and he even dropped us off at another location since we didn't want to go back to our hotel yet. He was the best! We loved Alishan!

Booking this tour for our Taiwan trip was very worth it. We went to Zhongshe Flower Market in Taichung, then the filming locations of Meteor Garden in National Chung Cheng University. It was a nostalgic experience as fans of the drama. The tour also provides tons of photo spots. Our guide, Sir Joseph M, was also very friendly, kind, patient, and helpful. He gives clear instructions for the tourist and information about Taiwan and Meteor Garden. He also speaks English very well, which is perfect for foreigners. Will definitely recommend this tour to others who will travel to Taiwan.

hassle free tour at alishan with a side trip for tea picking. this is a great experience that will make you fall in love with nature. our chinese driver is very accommodating and do his best to speak to us in english. the van is also spacious and has enough leg room for you to stretch your legs after a long walk.
