Easy to use, app is simple and provides good info on train routes etc. A bit pricey at first, but you if you don’t have definite plans and prebooked train tickets months before, will recommend getting this to avoid variable prices.

I purchased the MTR Tourist Day Pass for my kids and it was a great decision. The pass made traveling around Hong Kong simple and stress‑free, and it saved us money compared to buying single tickets for every ride. My sons were able to explore more places without worrying about fares, which made their trip more enjoyable and fun.

It was easy to locate though I got confused if it was the same train as the one on the tv is different but confirmed it with the customer service in the train station. the train itself is great with table and wifi so I was able to work for 4 hours before sleeping.

A rail pass is truly excellent, especially during discount seasons. If your general itinerary is set, a pass valid for several trips within a month is very convenient. Additionally, once you factor in the TGV reservation fee, it's almost the same as the original price, but it's still more cost-effective than booking at the last minute.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and Worth the Visit The Royal Palace of Madrid is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth visiting. The architecture, grand rooms, intricate details, and history are all very impressive. We walked through the palace at our own pace and really enjoyed the experience. We used the tour operator simply to secure our tickets, and the process was smooth and convenient. Access was straightforward, and we had no issues. A must-see when visiting Madrid and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

The works of this Spanish artist are truly amazing, with over 1,000 pieces on display. We spent almost an entire day admiring them. If you appreciate oil paintings, you'll definitely want to stay longer. Please note, however, that photography is not allowed inside the museum. Remember to bring your own drinking water, as none is provided. There is a cafe on-site where you can eat, drink, or grab a beverage during your visit. The security staff are friendly and can guide you through the various exhibition halls. Oh, and there's also a photo zone nearby! Don't forget to explore the museum thoroughly. Purchasing tickets through the Coca-Cola system is very convenient; there's no need to wait in line, just show your ticket to the staff.

We had a wonderful and very informative experience on the Toledo, Segovia, and Ávila tour. We learned so much about the history and culture of each place, and we were also given ample time to explore and enjoy the beautiful sights at our own pace. Laura and Eduardo did an excellent job sharing all the information we needed throughout the tour. They were both helpful, friendly, and approachable, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The organization was great, the destinations were fascinating, and the guides made the tour truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Spain!

Besides Guernica, there were many other interesting works on the 4th floor. If there was a piece I was curious about, I found it really useful to take a picture of the artwork and its description and ask the AI to explain/interpret it. For those interested in modern art, I recommend starting on the 4th floor and working your way down.

What to know before visiting Madrid

Madrid in a nutshell: museums, history and lively tours

Madrid’s Klook bookings show the city is driven by museums, historical sites and a steady stream of tours and events year-round. Demand peaks in December and falls to its lowest in August and September, giving the year a clear high‑and‑low rhythm.

When to visit: crowd and price trade-offs

Klook data shows December is the busiest month while August (and September by bookings) sees the weakest demand. Prices drift through the year: they are typically lowest around September and climb to a peak in January. For lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for September or the late‑summer lull; if you want the full peak‑season atmosphere, plan for December when demand is highest even though prices tend to be higher around the turn of the year. Overall, demand and prices mostly move together around the highs and lows, with both demand and prices subdued in late summer and rising toward winter.

Tips for travellers from Singapore

Most travellers from Singapore who book Madrid experiences lock them in about a week ahead on average, with some booking as early as around 20 days before travel for key items. Many activities can still be booked at short notice (often a day or so), so you can be flexible, but consider booking popular museum and event experiences earlier for travel in December. Use Klook to compare dates and secure the specific times or tours you want without overcommitting.
