Fantastic 5.0
The tour was amazing and our tour guide Libby was full of energy, very friendly and informative! Sleeping under the stars, bonfires, walks and views made it a special experience. I’m also very happy for the vegetarian option for the meals and snacks

The day tour of Uluru is really interesting and amazing. The tour guy Yda is a really knowledgeable and professional tour guide. He will text you before the day of the tour to make sure the pick-up time and you will also receive an email a few days before the tour. Just a reminder, you need to purchase the park pass ($35) by yourself, which is not included in the tour since April. During the tour, they were told that some places are sensitive sites, so they couldn’t take a photo in that field because it is an Aboriginal secret area. The cultural center also does not allow taking pictures inside. The dinner offered BBQ, but the flies are everywhere which is a little bit annoying, but the sunset was beautiful! Overall is a fabulous journey!

Fantastic 5.0
Our itinerary started with watching the sunrise, and everyone received a hot drink and a snack. Since the sunrise viewing spot was quite crowded, we had to walk a bit further to find a good place for photos. After the sunrise, we went to hike the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. It was very windy along the way, but the scenery was stunning, and we were constantly awestruck by the valley. Afterward, our guide took us to two more viewpoints where we could see Kata Tjuta from a distance, and it looked beautiful against the blue sky and white clouds.

Fantastic 5.0
My boyfriend and I were seated together, but we were assigned to the back, which was a bit of a shame since it was his birthday and we had hoped to sit closer to the front. However, they assigned our seats for us. Even though we were in the second row, we both had window seats and could see the scenery. What made us happier was that the clouds were quite thick that day, and we thought we wouldn't be able to see the sunset or much change in the rock formations. But we were lucky and saw beautiful scenery and a stunning sunset.

The Sunrise was really beautiful and the hotel transportation is on time and they will also offer hot coffee and tea and some cookies the field of light you can spend almost 1 hour taking some photos and the crew can also help you to take the photos and teach you some photography tips to take photos with the field of light. Overall, the experience is really unforgettable and the sunrise with Uluru was really stunning, you must see once in your life!

Getting up close to the rock was one of the highlights of this trip! Michael, our tour guide, is the best! He shared a lot of interesting stories and facts about Uluru. The banana bread during the sunrise picnic was so good too! 👌

What to know before visiting Alice Springs

What to expect from Alice Springs activities

Alice Springs is primarily booked for Tours, with Museums a much smaller niche; the city's activity demand builds through the year and peaks in September. Expect bookings to be quieter around February and then to pick up steadily into the winter and early spring peak.

Which activities suit different travellers

Families will often choose Tours that offer accessible, organised ways to see highlights together, while Museums provide a compact, budget-friendly stop for a short cultural visit. Couples can enjoy mid-range Tours for guided, shared experiences that suit sightseeing and local interpretation. Solo travellers and small groups will find Tours flexible and widely varied — from entry-level to premium options — and Museums are the easiest, lowest-cost option for a short solo visit.

What travellers from Singapore tend to book ahead

Most travellers from Singapore keep plans flexible for Alice Springs: with a typical booking lead time of about three weeks, many things can still be arranged a few days before travel, though the earliest planners book around seven to eight weeks ahead. Booking ahead is most important for travel in September, when demand is highest and popular Tours fill up sooner.

How categories compare on price and who they suit

Museums are the easiest, cheapest way in to local culture, centred at the lower end of the price range. Tours are the priciest and also have the widest spread of options, covering entry-level choices up through premium guided experiences — they suit families, couples and groups wanting a fuller, organised visit. If you want the broadest selection of styles and price points, look to Tours; if you want the lowest-cost, simplest option, Museums are the go-to.
