Dingen om te doen in Alice Springs

My boyfriend and I were seated together, but we were assigned to the back, which was a bit of a shame since it was his birthday and we had hoped to sit closer to the front. However, they assigned our seats for us. Even though we were in the second row, we both had window seats and could see the scenery. What made us happier was that the clouds were quite thick that day, and we thought we wouldn't be able to see the sunset or much change in the rock formations. But we were lucky and saw beautiful scenery and a stunning sunset.

The tour was amazing and our tour guide Libby was full of energy, very friendly and informative! Sleeping under the stars, bonfires, walks and views made it a special experience. I’m also very happy for the vegetarian option for the meals and snacks

The day tour of Uluru is really interesting and amazing. The tour guy Yda is a really knowledgeable and professional tour guide. He will text you before the day of the tour to make sure the pick-up time and you will also receive an email a few days before the tour. Just a reminder, you need to purchase the park pass ($35) by yourself, which is not included in the tour since April. During the tour, they were told that some places are sensitive sites, so they couldn’t take a photo in that field because it is an Aboriginal secret area. The cultural center also does not allow taking pictures inside. The dinner offered BBQ, but the flies are everywhere which is a little bit annoying, but the sunset was beautiful! Overall is a fabulous journey!

Ik raad deze tour ten zeerste aan! De gids gaf zoveel kennis over de horoscoop en hoe je verschillende sterren kunt herkennen. En de Melkweg was duidelijk zichtbaar, ik zou hier graag nog een keer aan deelnemen als ik Uluru opnieuw bezoek.

De reis begon met het bekijken van de zonsopgang, waarbij iedereen een warm drankje en een snack kreeg. Omdat er veel toeristen waren op de plek waar we de zonsopgang bekeken, moesten we een stukje verder lopen om een goede plek te vinden voor foto's. Na de zonsopgang gingen we naar de Vallei van de Winden in Kata Tjuta. Het was erg winderig onderweg, maar het landschap was prachtig en de vallei was adembenemend. Daarna werden we naar twee andere uitkijkpunten gebracht, vanwaar we Kata Tjuta van een afstand konden bewonderen, wat met de blauwe lucht en witte wolken erg mooi was.

The Sunrise was really beautiful and the hotel transportation is on time and they will also offer hot coffee and tea and some cookies the field of light you can spend almost 1 hour taking some photos and the crew can also help you to take the photos and teach you some photography tips to take photos with the field of light. Overall, the experience is really unforgettable and the sunrise with Uluru was really stunning, you must see once in your life!

Dicht bij de rots komen was een van de hoogtepunten van deze reis! Michael, onze gids, is de beste! Hij deelde veel interessante verhalen en feiten over Uluru. Het bananenbrood tijdens de zonsopgangpicknick was ook zo lekker! 👌
