Taipei Lungshan Temple Half-Day Guided Tour

The tour was affordably priced, and booking it through Klook was straightforward. Our guide led us to the famous Longshan Temple. Its decorations and the precision of its carvings amazed me; I've never seen such intricate artistry before. They delved into Taiwanese religious culture, guiding us on how to offer incense and pray, and teaching us to make wishes to the gods. This visit felt like psychological healing, similar to meditation, prompting deep introspection and a return to my core self. The guide's detailed explanations were much appreciated. Hoping to find a partner as advised, I made a wish to the 'God of Matchmaking'. I wholeheartedly recommend this enlightening tour to everyone.

First time to do this kind of walking tour. Although it's quite tiring for 2 hrs of walking but Mark made it interesting. Full of information got from this tour!

Chen was my tour guide she gave detailed information about the temples and also gave insights on local cuisines and delicacies sold in the night market.I had a great time and enjoyed my tour very much.

It was my first English walking tour in Taiwan, and it was an amazing experience! When I visited Longshan Temple before, I just wandered around without really knowing much. But this time, I could learn about the meaning behind the architecture, sculptures, and the stories of all the different gods. I really enjoyed it! What surprised me the most was that I thought it would be a group tour, but actually, I was the only one! Even though I was the only participant, Irene, today's tour guide was so enthusiastic and passionate. Despite the hot weather, she explained everything in detail, and kindly answered all my questions. I really appreciate her effort, and I hope I can join her another tour soon!

Vincent is an excellent guide. He is very knowledgeable and kind. He showed me great places in the temple and also in the surrounding night markets. However, the title of this tour is a little misleading because it's not a half-day tour, it takes 1-2 hours. That's not Vincent's fault, but I think it should be changed. It's great value for money. I would 100% recommend it.

She explains everything really well and will also introduce you to traditional foods which you cannot see being recommended foods to try in Taiwan on social media. Aiyu juice is a really great partner with scallion pancakes and will let you try the crystal mochi by this wonderful granpa in the night market. I really appreciate her introducing those foods to me

I always consider myself a professional explorer while traveling, but it's completely opposite this time. MyProGuide (well I believe the title fits the truth) provide an excellent tour guide which has proficiency in English speaking and touring experience for my day trip. I thought it was just a simple temple like the others, but wow, it's way more than that. And I get to have this experience thanks to MyProGuide.

Two hours flew by! Our guide, Zhuang Deming, made the tour incredibly enjoyable by sharing so much history and culture. The restaurant he recommended was also delicious! Next time, I'd love to come in the evening. I highly recommend this guide; everyone should consider taking a tour with him!
