Harbour Grand Kowloon Buffet | The Promenade | Lunch Buffet, Dinner Buffet

On May 29th, we visited the Kowloon Whampoa Harbour Grand Hotel to enjoy a lavish buffet lunch (12:00 PM - 2:30 PM). The price was reasonable and offered excellent value for money. There was a wide variety of food, and the quality and taste were guaranteed to be delicious. The hotel staff and servers provided excellent service. We've dined here many times and have never been dissatisfied. Our table was conveniently located near the food, which was perfect as one of our party was an elderly person who requested easy access to the buffet. The environment was pleasant with bright natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, though the air conditioning was slightly insufficient, which wasn't a major issue. Regarding the food, there was roast beef, which is my favorite, as well as salmon sashimi, octopus, fresh scallops, and fresh red shrimp—all fresh and varied. The cakes and desserts were satisfying. There was a slight shortage of cutlery, but it was replenished quickly, perhaps because the kitchen couldn't wash and replace it fast enough. Overall, I give it a five-star rating; it was a satisfactory experience.

This time, we were seated further away from the floor-to-ceiling windows, which was very comfortable (last time, our spot was in direct sunlight and extremely hot). As for the food, the seafood was fresh and delicious. Whether it was the shrimp, crab legs, oysters, or mussels, everything was incredibly sweet and flavorful. The sashimi was also outstanding. This visit, I focused mainly on seafood and sashimi, followed by dessert. I only had a little curry from the hot dishes because I was already about 70% full and wasn't very interested in the other options. I've been to this restaurant several times; it has high ceilings, a wide variety of food, and good service. Used dishes are cleared away very quickly.

The restaurant is clean, has an open view, spacious seating, and friendly, efficient staff. There's a wide variety of food, with lunch options including crab legs, baked oysters, fish maw, steak, lamb rack, and sashimi. There are also many dessert choices; the Napoleon, durian cake, mango cake, and Portuguese egg tarts are a must-try. Seniors aged 60 and above also receive a discount, making it great value for money and perfect for a family meal.

The buffet offers a wide variety of seafood, including both cold and hot dishes. Cold seafood options include king crab and clams, while hot seafood dishes feature braised abalone, cheese-baked lobster, braised fish maw, Japanese grilled eel, and garlic-baked oysters, perfect for seafood lovers! Additionally, there's an extensive selection of desserts, from Western cakes to Hong Kong-style tofu pudding, Hong Kong-style egg waffles, and Hong Kong-style ginger milk pudding, suitable for both adults and children. The buffet also features a live band performance, allowing us to enjoy our meal while listening to classic old songs, which is ideal for seniors. The dining environment is comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island across the water.

Today, the whole family went to the Harbour Grand Kowloon for a buffet to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. The food there was diverse and plentiful, including cold dishes like snow crab legs, shrimp, conch, oysters, and sashimi. Hot dishes included braised oxtail, beef tongue, suckling pig, and braised beef shank. There were also various dim sum options, braised fish maw, and a wide selection of curry dishes to choose from. For dessert, there was mango pudding, steamed egg custard, waffles, various Movenpick ice creams, and exquisite cakes, truly an overwhelming array of choices. The waitstaff even proactively offered to take our picture, making for a happy and satisfying afternoon.

The Promenade, the lobby buffet at Harbour Grand Kowloon, was the filming location for the classic "Vivienne Eats Buffet" scene (though the actual filming took place next door at Harbour Grill). As a buffet enthusiast, you absolutely must try this buffet. The Promenade's king crab is served in generous, full rows and is incredibly fresh and sweet. For desserts, whole cakes are displayed for guests to help themselves. While Vivienne preferred the mango flavor, I personally found the high-percentage chocolate cake here to be even better (though the mango mochi was also quite good). For hot dishes, I recommend the lamb shank, fish maw, and fried shrimp paste chicken wings; other dishes are more common. This visit was for a friend's birthday, and the restaurant provided a small cake with a candle, making for a lovely celebration (*¯︶¯*).

Price: All-you-can-eat lunch $578/2 people, a great deal Restaurant environment: Feels a bit cramped, the hotel doesn't provide a place (basket) to put bags, sitting is a bit uncomfortable, it would be better if it could be improved. Service: Clearly not enough staff, saw one employee responsible for many tables, can't clear the plates in time. Food taste: Snow crab legs are sweet, unlike other hotels that are just dead salty. American oysters are plump and delicious, there are fewer and fewer all-you-can-eat lunch buffets that offer oysters, thumbs up 👍. In addition, the hotel provides orange juice, apple juice and soft drinks! Experience: Will buy again if there is another special offer!

An extremely abundant buffet dinner with high-quality food. Booking through KLOOK is convenient and affordable. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is polite. I have already eaten here several times and will go again with friends next time 👍👍👍

The meal lasted a very long time, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and they kept refilling the food. I especially loved the bread crab; I ate a lot of it. Other hotels only give you the shell with no crab roe inside, so this place is commendable. I'll definitely eat here again 😋😋😋 Food taste: Excellent Restaurant ambiance: The environment is spacious, not cramped, with plenty of room to walk around, and you can enjoy the night view. Price: For three people, around $1300 is a great deal. Service: The service attitude is excellent; they quickly clear your plates. Overall experience: 100 points for everything.

This is one of my favorite hotels to visit. The environment is elegant and comfortable, and there's a wide variety of food. I especially love the desserts, and the sashimi offers many choices, all thickly sliced, which is very satisfying!
