Kanahebisui Shrine & Yakurai Garden Full-Day Spiritual Tour

What a lucky and joyful trip it was! As the saying goes, 'water brings prosperity,' and on such a misty, rainy day, visiting the famous Golden Snake Water Shrine, known for its effective prayers for wealth, felt like a divine sign that we are destined to become rich! It was a rare treat to see hydrangeas of various colors outside the shrine, along with a spacious cafe. For lunch, we enjoyed grilled beef tongue, a specialty of Miyagi Prefecture, and whitebait rice bowls. We also leisurely browsed IKEA, and surprisingly, there was even a mobile vendor selling Hokkaido specialty chocolates, which we promptly indulged in. The garden in the afternoon was beautiful and seemed perfect for wedding photos. The church and accessory shops inside were also worth a stop. Mr. Abe, the tour leader, was incredibly hospitable and spontaneously added a trip to Tagajo for us. Our guide, Hanna, provided detailed explanations about Japan's ancient eastern gate, the Tagajo stone monument from over a thousand years ago, and the waka poems composed by Matsuo Basho in Tagajo. We also saw the beautiful iris garden. Enjoying beautiful scenery, delicious food, listening to history, and learning about culture—it was a truly healing journey for both body and mind!

This was a truly unforgettable and heartwarming spiritual journey. Our guide, Abu, was exceptionally friendly and professional throughout the day. Even though it rained lightly the entire time, Abu thoughtful and caring arrangements turned what could have been a damp day into one filled with warmth and sunshine in our hearts. Every detail was handled with such kindness and attention that we felt genuinely taken care of. The tour at Kanahebisui Shrine and Yakurai Garden was peaceful and deeply moving.
