Beitou & Yangmingshan Day Tour: Thermal Valley, Xiaoyoukeng (From Taipei / Guaranteed Departure)

We had a great experience on this tour! Handsome Kevin and his trainee were knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout the day. Despite the tiring itinerary and rainy weather, Kevin stayed energetic until the very end. The places we visited were beautiful, especially for nature lovers. I liked that we were encouraged to explore; Kevin gave us the option to relax or join him as he shared interesting facts about each place. The lunch stop was a nice experience with generous portions to share, although the food wasn’t quite to my personal taste. Our driver was also kind and made us feel safe. With only five guests, including me as a solo traveler, the tour felt personal and relaxed. Despite the weather, we had an amazing time. Thanks to Kevin, his trainee, our driver, and the whole team for a memorable day. Highly recommended!

We had a great time on the tour and truly made the most of every place we visited! Our tour guide, Tony, was very knowledgeable and shared interesting historical facts and information about each location. On top of that, he was incredibly kind and gave our group ample time to fully enjoy Taiwan’s beautiful landscapes.

I did this tour on my last day in Taipei and it was honestly the perfect way to end the trip. We saw so much in just one day without it ever feeling rushed. Kevin was amazing—super funny, engaging, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. It felt easy, well-paced, and just a great way to take everything in before leaving. I had such a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Our Beitou & Yangmingshan day trip was an absolute delight from start to finish. The itinerary was well‑balanced, allowing us to enjoy the natural beauty of hot springs, lush mountain scenery, and cultural highlights without ever feeling rushed. She shared fascinating insights about the history and culture of the area, and her thoughtful attention ensured everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the journey. We also want to sincerely thank Mr. Chen, our driver, for providing a safe and smooth ride. His professionalism and calm driving allowed us to relax and enjoy the day with complete peace of mind. One of our best tours in Taiwan. The grassland was really beautiful. It was an easy hike. Luckily, the weather was okay when we visited. Our tour guide, Molly, was amazing at what she does.

I appreciate that the guide adjusted the itinerary according to the weather. We ended up not having to deal with crowds when we were in all the places. We also had a few nice detours here and there. I think we spent ample time in each location. I also liked that it was a small tour group of just five people. We even saw a bamboo snake while hiking. Overall, satisfied.

I was so happy to see the beautiful scenery of Taiwan. Fortunately, the weather was so nice that I enjoyed every part of the trip. The water buffalo grazing in the beautiful meadow, the hot pink cherry blossoms, the mysterious volcanic activity, and the hot spring village were all enjoyable experiences. The guide was also very good at explaining things and took such great pictures that I had a memorable time in Taiwan thanks to them. I think it's a great trip for those who like to see the scenery.

Had a great one day trip to Beitou and Yangmingshan! We managed to cover so many beautiful places and the time allocated to each place was just nice. It was so fun and my family enjoyed it so much! I don't think I would be able to visit so many places if I am going by myself. Special shoutout to our tour guide Peggy, who was knowledgeable, responsible and very patient. It was very kind of her to offer to help us take photos throughout the trip. The instructions for each location was given both in Mandarin and English, so everyone was clear and on time for every spot. Peggy also went beyond the mile to give us very good introduction and information to the places we are covering, as well as some of the other places in Taipei and the rest of Taiwan, which we are really grateful for.

This tour has the best itinerary. So many places to see up close and we were very lucky to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom at Yangmingshan during a slightly warm winter. We also got to see the cute Taiwanese buffalos in Qingtiangang. The photos didn’t do justice on how beautiful the sceneries and sites were. Our tour guide, Ruth, was also very cheerful, fun and knowledgeable about the places we went to. Also very well-versed about her guests’ culture. The driver was also just happy vibes and an expert driver as well. We’re grateful to have them as our guide in this tour. We really got to explore the places we wanted to see.
