What to expect
Morning · Arashiyama Walk along the bamboo forest path and listen to the thousand-year-old whispers of the wind blowing through Sagano. Under the Togetsukyo Bridge, the green waves are rippling, and the wooden temples and red maples are intertwined. Take the Sagano train to shuttle through the Hozu Gorge and feel the beauty of the dynasty described in “The Tale of Genji” Afternoon · Sanzenin Hide in the “Moss Temple Secret Realm” at the foot of Mount Hiei, where the moss is spread like a carpet and the childish Jizo smiles beside the hydrangea. Have a cup of tea at Jubi Garden and watch the light and shadow cast on the national treasure Buddha statue in Gokurakuin. Time quietly stops here Twilight · Kifune Shrine When the lanterns are lit one by one, the approach to the temple turns into a vermilion tunnel leading to another world. The water fortune-telling sticks sway on the riverbed, and you can savor the summer limited water noodles or the winter hot pot around the stove. The night maple and snow-viewing lanterns at Kifune Shrine push the romance of Kyoto to the extreme.

Reviews
2025/10/09 Highly recommended for independent travelers!! Besides the well-known Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, Kyoto has many other wonderful places worth exploring. Be sure to dedicate a day to personally appreciate Kyoto's local scenery. With Mr. Hanazawa, you don't have to worry about transfers and timing, and you can experience multiple attractions! Mr. Hanazawa, our guide and driver, was very friendly and spoke Chinese, Japanese, and English. You can ask him anything. He also generously shared Japanese customs and culture, allowing everyone to better understand the local history. You can feel that he loves everything about Japan and is passionate about his work! Originally, we only hoped to see the beautiful scenery of the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Togetsukyo Bridge, and the poetic atmosphere of Kifune Shrine at dusk. However, we also unexpectedly gained the Zen and beauty of Sanzen-in Temple, allowing us to experience Kyoto's rich ancient capital culture and natural scenery. Thank you, Mr. Hanazawa, for introducing us to Kyoto and Osaka. I hope to share this review with tourists who are planning to visit. We will definitely look for you again when we come to Japan next time!
we really enjoyed the tour so much as this is a trip that covers the "not so commonly visited" tourist spot. sightseeing was so peaceful and relaxing. totally worth the trip!we covered places like Arashimaya, Sansenin and Kifune. recommended!
This trip was mainly to see Sanzen-in Temple and Kifune Shrine's illuminations. Sanzen-in Temple is truly serene and beautiful, perfect for quiet contemplation. Kifune Shrine is smaller, but its nighttime illuminations are very beautiful. Since Kifune has stone steps, be careful walking at night. Overall, I appreciate the leadership of Yan Lei on this trip.
The tour guide and driver were very helpful and provided excellent service. I would definitely book other tours in the future! ^_^
