Reviews
Thank you to our tour driver, Win🙏, for taking such good care of us! The "Fukiware no Taki Falls" are a very special natural waterfall with spectacular water flow. Although the weather was hot, it was cool near the falls, and we enjoyed a leisurely stroll alongside them. At "Harada Farm," it was our first time picking peaches 🍑, which was a lot of fun. The peaches were big, pink, and very cute 😍. Win also carefully helped us find the bigger ones 🍑. We ate them back at the hotel, and they were very sweet and juicy! They're so expensive at the supermarket! There were also many local products and souvenirs to choose from at the farm, which you can't find in big cities. We bought a lot to cherish. The "Tamahara Lavender Park" lavender had just started to bloom, not quite as lush as the Tomita Farm in Hokkaido, but the sunflowers 🌻 were a delightful surprise, a sea of flowers that made for beautiful photos 📷. There was also a flower carpet, which reminded me of the flower fields of Hokkaido. Of course, we also had some lavender ice cream 🍦! The whole trip wasn't on a large bus, it was a small group tour, very relaxing, with plenty of time, and very well organized! Highly recommended 👍
Many thanks to Mr. Gao Hongmiao for his meticulous and patient care. He made every part of our itinerary today incredibly smooth! ♥️ Although we didn't go to the waterfall, we saw the cherry blossoms in full bloom and caught the tail end of winter. In one day, we experienced the spring of blooming cherry blossoms, enjoyed all-you-can-eat freshly picked strawberries, and saw the pure white snow that only appears in winter. Plus, we were back in Tokyo by 6 PM, with time to shop at the mall. We did so much in one day; it was truly great value for money, and I highly recommend it.
We really had a great day from this tour the cherries are sweet, and breath taking falls.. kuddos to our Guide/driver 赵玉 smooth driving and great personality.. highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Today's itinerary was packed, but instead of going to the waterfall, we went to Kawagoe Ichiban-gai. There wasn't quite enough time to explore, only 80 minutes. We first went to Hikawa Shrine, and then went to Kawagoe Ichiban-gai, leaving us with only 30 minutes, so it was a bit rushed and we could only quickly buy some souvenirs. After that, we went strawberry picking, which was quite satisfying, achieving strawberry freedom! Finally, we went to the hot spring town to soak in the hot springs, and all the day's fatigue disappeared~ Many thanks to today's driver, Gao Hongmiao, for his great service, friendliness, and talkativeness. I hope to see you again next time.
We traveled in a comfortable 8-seater van, and everything was punctual and well organized. A WhatsApp/WeChat group was created beforehand for smooth coordination and useful updates about each stop. The schedule was well planned, with enough time for cherry picking, a self-paid lunch, a full walk around Fukiwara Falls, and exploring Ikaho Stone Steps. Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free day trip.
It was a very fruitful journey. thanks driver guide BeiBei for taking us!
We were the only family to sign up, which made it feel like a private car service. The driver was very thoughtful, and the itinerary was flexible and easy to coordinate. Highly recommended! As for the itinerary, most shops in Kawagoe weren't open yet when we arrived, but it was still pleasant to walk around and explore. Next, we went to the strawberry farm, and 30 minutes of all-you-can-eat was fantastic! Finally, we arrived at the ski resort just in time for a March snowfall, experiencing playing in the snow and watching it fall. Everyone in the family was happy.😊
With another tour guide (driver), my experience might have been completely different but I had a horrible experience on this tour. The driver showed up to the incorrect pickup location and threatened to leave me if I couldn't get there fast enough only to wait 30 minutes for the other couple on the tour. We were taken to the third location first without being told why. Going to the second location he was speeding while texting and driving to the point where I was scared for my safety. He then took us to the wrong (abandoned) farm. After taking us to the right location we were only given 40 minutes instead of the 1.5 hours we were supposed to spend there. At the third (supposed to be first(the waterfall)) location, we were only given 40 minutes to explore instead of an hour. After leaving Gunma, we got back into Tokyo over an hour later than expected *and* he dropped us off at the wrong drop off point. Completely unacceptable. Would not recommend if you want to follow the itinerary.
This option is more like a pure carpool transfer with an admission ticket, and the value for money is acceptable. Overall, it met expectations.
The tour covers 3 places - Gunma Fukiwara Falls & Fruit Picking & Lavender Park. We got to one spot to see abit of the waterfalls which was not that magnificent. Next to fruit farm for blueberries fruit picking. i am wondering why this is considered blueberry seasons when the blueberries arent at their best. they were very small like raisins and puny in size. The 3rd place was Lavender park and disappointly, lavender there weee not in full bloom.
